Hasn't Lambert already told Blackburn where to go? He was working for crazy Indian chicken sellers, which might make him well qualified for us. But I happen to think he is a dour humourless tosser who should never have left Norwich, so wouldn't want him anyway.1 -

The whole Wilder thing shows that the idea that Duchatelet & Meire have learnt any lessons regarding their failed strategy is totally false. Its all empty rubbish bullshit PR words. Any competent manager who wants to be successful would not touch the Charlton job under the current conditions with a very long stick attached to a bargepole poking an irregularly ticking second world bomb found digging up Woolwich high street.5

Who's been on twitter?! According to this we favour Zippy for Manager! Well he is a puppet....................4 -
I'm deeply saddened with the club's failure to drag the Wilder-Knill deal over the line.
I have no doubt that our fragrant and lovely CEO had really staked her reputation on this one, and she could have been really damaged by it in the eyes of the fans.
Luckily, for all concerned, she has managed to maintain the standards of competence and ability that have become synonymous with her name. We can all rest assured that the Duchatelet Way marches on at The Valley, and nothing, barring a sudden decision by the Shareholder to divest himself of the club, will divert his regime from the one true path....2 -
I think Bungle would be a more apt choice.IAgree said:http://www.sevenoakschronicle.co.uk/Zippy-Rainbow-Charlton-fans-choice-manager/story-29261664-detail/story.html

I actually don't think this one is down to KM, it's RD. She simply does what she is told, when Wilder said he wanted it to be in his contract she would have called RD to ask (assuming he hadn't already given strict instructions to that effect). She's just the puppet.
I'm starting to wonder what hold RD has over KM, surely working under those circumstances and everything else you'd have walked long ago.
The sad thing about all of this the last two days is actually that RD thought employing a british manager but making them work under the same constraints would bring results, he's more deluded than ever.
Can't wait to see what odd's we are to be relegated when they come out, any better than evens and i'm putting £100 on it.

He has in the past overruled her without thinking of those consequences, so basically he doesn't care. He could have at least gone along with the story that she may have pre-maturely told etc.MuttleyCAFC said:If the picture that is emerging is correct, there is a possible scenario where you have to have a tinge of sympathy for KM - hear me out - for me if correct it is even more reason why she should resign and she can't escape the blame for not doing so.
So let's look at the Luzon appointment firstly - she told us that the club would be embarking on a proper search for a manager - then was accused of being a liar by us, because that clearly did not happen. She probably thought she could manage the club as that is what Roland told her he wanted her to do. But he over-ruled her when he could have easily prevented her from making a statement she couldn't fulfill by keeping her up to date with his plans - it suggests he is a mad idiot - so that bit rings true.
Then you have the stupid statement that recently appeared on the website - we have been told that she tried to persuade him not to do it - which he ignored. It suggests he is a mad idiot - so that bit rings true.
Then you have the non-appointment of Wilder. She clearly was given autonomy to try to get the man and was clearly not communicated to clearly enough what she could and couldn't offer him. But she nearly got it over the line when the owner decided to undermine her negotiations and not sign up to something she clearly thought she could offer. It suggests he is a mad idiot - so that bit rings true.
Now that does not excuse the disrespect, stupid statements and decisions she has made at all. It also suggests we should question why she continues to work for a mad idiot who his more than happy to put her in it and allow her to be a focal point of protests. So the tinge of sympathy can only be a small one if that is true, as she has it in her power to take herself out of this madness and doesn't. Being part of this shambles is only harming her future and the owner is only going to get worse - especially if his madness is age related!
He has basically started the LIAR within her but she is more then happy to back him up on every turn.
They deserve each other.
For normal people or people with self respect and a sense of pride, this job, however well it pays or is needed, must be a soul destroyer but one she obviously can't live without.
Mel Baroni was highly dis-respected and overruled by Roland. She obviously has what Katrien does not.
A tad of pride.

A month or two ago, Duchatelet forced out the CZJ CEO by threatening to withdraw his cash backing for the club. The reason was the CEO had promised a contract extension to Uluc.The_President said:

Will be interesting if Wilder goes to Sheff Utd as it will be kind of like watching what we could've had if our owner and CEO weren't such shysters. Sheff Utd will probably finally come good at our expense.1
