Hey guys,
Back off holiday - what's happening then?0 -
Thank God you're here WCA!carly burn said:
If he is just a postman, as his twitter note states, then he will not know anything about a redirection enquiry as this is handled outside of local delivery offices.WestCountryAddick said:

Haha.
I only know this because RM stuffed up a redirection for my business address recently and after trying to call just about everyone to get it sorted (without any luck) I finally drove to the local depot and asked them about it, they gave me the info. It's great to be ITK

Of course it's bollocks. The deal's not done yet she knows where they're going to live in order to redirect her mail there?!MrLargo said:
That sounds like utter bollocks to me. Where are they even redirecting to, or have they already found and moved into their new house?carly burn said:
Oh hang on, think the deal may be back on. Hearing that Mrs Wilder has just been spotted in the Farrow & Ball shop in Blackheath - she is apparently being treated for shock after being quoted £400 for two tins of Midnight Blue and a small pot of white gloss.0 -
He's found out about Squirrel Facecafc_harry said:Contract length and an agreement with Alan Knill are the main things I've seen mentioned. Easy to speculate over control over transfers etc. but I'd think the talks would have ended a hell of a lot quicker if that was the case.

RM might be a lot of things but he does know English football and what a UK manager/coach will expect so either he is keeping quiet or being ignored or it just a bit of the usual give and take of negotiation.0

See they're well trained regarding the recovery position.PaddyP17 said:Turns out this was the snag: Clown knocks out man in circus accident
Must've been Roly's Travelling Circus.0 -
My guess is its not the length of contract that's the issue it's the total control of the transfer side of things .I bet the old gits shifted the sofa sorry the goalposts from yesterday.2

Right,thats it,not looking on CL until lunchtime!0

Roland's just found out that he has no experience of indoor football.
"I got the CVs mixed up, huh".3 -
Just seen the tweet, he has also put #windup in the comments.MrLargo said:

But, but, Colin said it was a done deal?

What's the likely hold-up? Charlton have promised full control over transfers (within a budget), but few believe on the basis of the past the Belgians would deliver that in practice. If Wilder has any sense he'll want that written into his contract, like the clauses Curbs and Keegan had which enabled them to win their cases after walking out at Wet Spam and Newcastle.
Pure speculation on my part but that is the crux of the Charlton problem for a manager and it would be no surprise if the Belgians have tried to fudge it at the end.23 -
Well that's what killed the deal then, obviously.FishCostaFortune said:But, but, Colin said it was a done deal?

Meire would find it very difficult/almost impossible to have someone telling her what to do on the football side of things IMO.Airman Brown said:What's the likely hold-up? And we all know Meire's going nowhere.

Not if you're from Yorkshire it ain't. Mrs Wilder has now moved over the road to the electrical shop, and is staring in bemused wonderment at a microwave.Todds_right_hook said:

Peter Reid also strongly linked. Could be an awkward few days for him if he decides not to come.colin1961 said:Northampton certain the deal is close as they approach Steve Cotterill to replace Wilder ....

I can imagine meire's trying to pull a fast one on the contract legal speak on the transfers.Airman Brown said:What's the likely hold-up? So Marc Wilmots still has a chance then?20

It's probably just that he's had a look on rightmove and found out that a house he could buy for £10k oop north would cost him £800k in East Greenwich.5

If wilder doesn't end up taking the job, it's enevitable he will leave soon. Maybe Nothampton have moved on as it were.colin1961 said:Northampton certain the deal is close as they approach Steve Cotterill to replace Wilder ....

It's looking bleak. Need 10 points to stay up with no games let to play. Mandy Rice- Davies is still optimistic though.iamdan said:Hey guys,

If the rumours about Northampton approaching other managers are true, I'd expect a decision from CW today.cafc_harry said:

I do think he will leave them this summer, but not necessarily for Charlton..0 -
Probably KM keeps putting the meeting off and rearranging it for another time4

Based on what we know of her and feedback we are receiving about Wilder, there is no way those two could work together amicably on the football side. He must insist on footballing independence from her in his contract otherwise this is all a waste of time.carly burn said:

Preferably, get a clause in his contract that if she interferes, she is moved out
