I was looking at buying some extra seats in lower west at no blocks were even available to view online.

If we put the netting over our goal, if might help us from conceding.

We need people who can throw a fair distance (so, not me, I throw like a girl) to buy up row 7, and swap places with anyone currently in row 7 who can't throw that distance. These people will then need to forward on all the stuff onto the pitch.

Shocking. I can't wait to see what the final seating arrangements are then.

I guess the thinking is that by blocking off the seats at the front and putting stewards between the seats and the pitch and the aisles with a view to preventing or greatly reducing the number of objects getting onto the pitch.

They will not have any plans to tell season ticket holders as that would have alerted us to the plans.

The biggest concern to me is that the vast majority of supporters do not read this site and will turn up and be very angry and you can see this turning ugly. No doubt they have anticipated this as well. It is a declaration of war with its own supporters over a 5 minute delay to a game. I would have thought the FA crowd control expert would know better, but when tid mere supporters matter?

What difference is sheeting over the seats going to make to crowd control? If people want to get onto the pitch they will.

Or maybe they think things won't reach the pitch if thrown from more than 6 rows back.

If there intention is to cover the first 6 rows behind the goal, then they need to go the whole hog and do the same for the East and Lower West. More expense, more aggro in moving season ticket holders.

Yeah, could have solved the whole problem by just putting some covers over the seats in the directors box.....

....just making sure it's something you couldn't breath through.

i guess they were always going to have to try something if the club want to avoid a fine etc.

As many have said, it'll make little difference and surely they must contact people in those seats to reallocate, they won't let people just sort it out amongst themselves, not that you won't be able to find a seat of course.

In some respects by doing this gives people the chance to think of something to counter if.

Definitely has the potential to get nasty with tactics like this.

All protests so far have been within the law (including the "siege") but disruptive.

Stewards stopping people walking freely around stands or to seats is the spark that could potentially lead to things getting a bit more physical.

You're doing it to yourselves Charlton. I fucking hate you so much right now - you're killing something that means so much to me, my friends and my family. I'll never forgive and I'll never forget.

That's what they want! Don't give them an excuse!

The stewards are cannon fodder that is all!
  • A plan is being hatched to close the Lower North at the Burnley game for so called security reasons. Alternative seats for the East Stand will be allocated to ticket holders in the Lower North.

That would be interesting, wonder if the reason the ticket website is down has something to do with it....

Dear oh dear. Is that the best they can come up with?

Keep treating your customers like idiots Katie. Whatever you do, I'm sure you will come up short. Fucking parasite.

If this is true those who have a season tickets in those seats should surely be told they aren't allowed in their seats and have been allocated others. Along with something extra for the inconvenience.

Remove the netting sit in the seats anyway. Rip the netting up tie a knot in each piece and throw it on the pitch.

Yeah, food vouchers that get you nothing. We've had this all before!

Desperation tactics from Tony Cahones and Katrien the Incompetent

They have created the fire and continue to fan the flames yet wonder why they are feeling the heat.

Their only response is to throw more fuel on the fire.

On live TV we will see front row seats, the ones they so broadly boast about being so cheap, cordoned off for the first time at the Valley.

What a damning indictment that is of this regime.

Just when you thought you couldn't get any angrier.

You know, I really don't get what they hope to gain from going to war with the supporters.

To me this suggests everyone should just transfer to the lower West. Hostile environment around the directors box. Plenty of access to the pitch to trow things. Who is with me?!
