Complete shambles right now. Trying to get to Charing Cross from Orpington. 11.39 train arrived at Orpington 45 minutes late then they terminated it and everybody had to get off. Now on late running 12.09 but they have just announced they are terminating it at Lon Bridge. SE trains.... Couldn't run a whelk stall.

I'm sure this will all be sorted before rush hour. ....

Trains currently not stopping at Bexleybeef due to a gas leak

How did they distinguish it from the usual gaseous smell there?
  • Lucky there was no explosion. It could have caused at least £15 worth of damage.

Been using South Eastern for just over six months now to go from Chatham - Victoria.

My estimate is that around 10%are on time, 85% are 10-30 mins late and 5% of the time I want to kill myself.

I post this sitting on a train that should have been at Bromley south 5 mins ago but is just sat here not moving!

And to think I payed nearly £4000 for this.. A sixth of my salary.

Give it another six months and you'll find out where the 2% comes from (i.e. trains on time) whilst 98% of the time you'll want to kill yourself.
  • 5 trains to get from Cannon Street to Tunbridge Wells. Last leg was Tonbridge to Tunbridge Wells, and I was lucky to get on that - rammed train at 20.00!!

Signal failure at Lewisham, no trains on Bexleyheath line, great start to a Monday with a hangover, useless pricks.

  • Cancellations and delays at Erith.
Notwork Rail to blame, although Southeastern always do their best to compound any issues.

Electrical supply problems at Tunbridge wells, despite the fact other trains have come and gone without problems. Check the train line app and the same train is running fine from tonbridge, just t wells and high brooms were cancelled! Now on a train additionally calling at Dunton green, knockholt and chelsfield. Not quite sure when I can make it to work this morning. Disgraceful

I was fine getting into work, 8.12 from Hither Green to London Cannon Street, until we inexplicably decided to sit at St John's for ten minutes.

The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting their happy Spring song, it's a lovely mild day, not too hot, not too cold, no rain, snow or fog. The perfect conditions for running a train service between South London and Central London, or so you would think. But apparently not, cos I'm still standing on the platform wondering where the 8.15 to Charing Cross is.

No announcements regarding where it might be and why it's late, so I presume South Eastern are in the dark as well. Perhaps there's a train equivalent to the Bermuda Triangle somewhere between New Eltham and Lee. Credit where it's due though, they have apologised for any inconvenience this may cause, completely alleviating any feelings of anger our bitterness that I may otherwise have been harbouring. I'll just turn up late at work (again) and say to my boss "good morning, I'm late for no apparent reason, I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause". Should be fine.

    Tossers. Thieving, lying, incompetent toddlers.
