Possibly but if we were "forced" then maybe he was able to ask for what he wanted.Ben18 said:Bikey's contract being paid up doesn't necessarily mean we paid the full amount left on his contract. More likely we negotiated a lower amount on the basis he could be released and would be able to find a new club after the window closed.
as Covered End say above we had to pay him off, and maybe for the full amount, to get him out of the door.
Shame Peeters thought Morrison was useless and was overheard by Gudmunsson telling his coaches that leading to Morro asking to move.3 -

Now Liege are no longer owned by RD is it safe to assume the scouting link-up we had with them has also ended? If RD had sold Liege a year ago would we still have been informed of Bauer and Kashi by the Liege scouts? Could we have identified Bauer and Kashi without the Liege scouts? Is there still a link-up between both clubs scouting systems even under different ownership? Can we go into future transfer windows and still find the Bauer's and Kashi's without a link-up with Liege scouts?0 -
Millwall bell that Peeters , still there were plenty willing to tickle his balls cos he had a Charlton badge on his shirtHenry Irving said:

That's how I read it, the club decided he'd become such a problem to have around the place that we had to get rid of him for the good of the rest of the team. They left it as long as they could but when it became clear that no one else wanted him they felt they had no other option than to cancel his contract. I'm no employment lawyer but I believe in that situation Bikey can, if he wishes to play hard ball (and why wouldn't he?), can demand that his contract be paid up in full.Henry Irving said:

I guess they could have given him leave of absence on full pay.

My wife says that I have the same problem as Andre, always getting in the way, causing a nuisance and hanging around at home taking up space shes earmarked for another purpose. If I went and did the same at the Valley/ Training Ground, Is there any chance that they could pay me a Bikey lump sum to go away as well?8

Having seen Bikey at Maidstone in preseason, he did not look to be a bad influence, add to that his good reputation at fan events i doubt that was the problem.
Sounds similar to Morrison he fell foul of the change of coaches but just because Luzon did not want him does not mean he does not have the right to the wages he is owed by the club when we offered him a two year contract last summer.9 -
Rumours again on twitter that Tucudean is coming back
Not sure how reliable this is or what the source is.
Seems odd that the contract has been cancelled now rather then in the window

George Tucudean has had his contract at Steaua Bucharest cancelled #cafc0 -
Another reason why the Player Budget has gone perhaps?
Cant say we dont have the Firepower up front this season now0 -
I would be quite happy if George came back , all be it a squad player. There was definitely a good player in there somewhere.13

Having seen Bikey lambast Fox on numerous occasions last season when it was Bikey himself at fault i beg to differ. Also what someone close to Charlton has told me and that was he was a fecking fruitcake.GretnaGreenAddick said:Having seen Bikey at Maidstone in preseason, he did not look to be a bad influence, add to that his good reputation at fan events i doubt that was the problem.

If you look the evidence is there too at his previous clubs.
Anyway i think George would be ok backup for Big Mac.2 - Sponsored links:

This was rumoured about a month ago, but no clarification was forthcoming. Not my favourite player but back-up to the Great Dane and better than playing some of the kids.Henry Irving said:Rumours again on twitter that Tucudean is coming back

This was rumoured last month, indeed I had wondered whether he could have played at Wolves, but aren't there rules about the number of clubs you can play for in a season, and maybe they were hoping to ship him out again1
-
You can when Tucudean is around.ForeverAddickted said:Another reason why the Player Budget has gone perhaps?

Should have given him gardening leave IMHO.Halix said:My wife says that I have the same problem as Andre, always getting in the way, causing a nuisance and hanging around at home taking up space shes earmarked for another purpose. I could find him a bush to trim...

Yes you cannot play for more than two. Ben arfa last season I remember falling victim to this.killerandflash said:This was rumoured last month, indeed I had wondered whether he could have played at Wolves, but aren't there rules about the number of clubs you can play for in a season, and maybe they were hoping to ship him out again

Tucadean released from stuea back to us until end of season0

Could he play as an attacking midfielder?CH4RLTON said:Tucadean released from stuea back to us until end of season
Or as right back!0 -

According to Ketts he can't get a Foreign loan until January, but he can get a short term domestic loan. I wonder whether Luzon will try to integrate him into the first team squad?0 -
I can't see Tuc taking a league one loan or getting a championship loan so I suspect he's in the first team squad until January at least. If he works hard and wants it enough I can see Luzon getting the best out of him.dickplumb said:http://www.steauafc.com/en/

Tuc won't play for us again, am almost sure of that. Not sure what type of man he is, that will determine whether he goes out on loan or sits in reserves until Jan.0
-
with our recent injury records and going over budget, i think him returning could be a bit of a touch.2
-
The enigma that is Tuc.
I agree with some comments above, I believe there is a good footballer in there somewhere, we've seen flashes of it in previous matches.
Personally I would be happy to have him as a squad player, and also agree that maybe GL can get the best out him....we shall see.
If only he had knocked that chance in against the spanners, he would be a hero to one and all..............sigh.........!4 -
George is a decent backup. Reza, KAG, Mak, Igor and Watt.
Plenty of goals there6 -
With Tuc and Reza returning, suddenly we seem to have far too many strikers, in relation to the lack of cover elsewhere1
-
I disagree, I don't think there is plenty of goals there at all. However, there should just be enough but really dependant on Igor and Watt firing.BigRedEvil said:George is a decent backup. Reza, KAG, Mak, Igor and Watt.

Not ideal but he's far from useless and if his attitude's ok he could play a part, especially if any of those front line injuries recur. He'll be behind KAG now in the pecking order but they have different strengths / weaknesses.0

I guess I'm the only one who was a fan of George and I think he made Vetokele a better player15
-
Not just you. I thought George had something to offer and if he's back them fine.2
