While they've sorted out the pitch could we have two hand driers that work in the gents above Block G in the East please?

Sorry, but now you're just taking the piss......
Nah I wash my hands after I go but it would be nice to dry them after ;)

Looks great. Proof of the pudding will be how it holds up the first time we have two games in four days and it tips it down for a week.

Looking forward to getting back there. It's been a long close season.

Looks just like everyone elses pitch, which is disappointing. Reverting back to green is a step backwards. Our brown grass last season was unique............
  • New white goal nets.

  • Wow, that's a great sight. R.D. - So far so good, keep it going!
Happily me memory's not completely gone, still remember that green stuff's called grass.

Just back from a quick look round at the open day. The whole place has been thoroughly cleaned up, and of course the pitch looks superb (less than a year after the Doncaster debacle). The new seats restore the proper colour.

So different from the old days when every other season more or less all you would find was that they'd painted the terrace barriers and the lil' ol' fence surrounding the pitch (often with as much paint again on the adjacent ground).

I'm feeling absurdly optimistic about the coming season, although I have no idea why. Surely the phoenix of 2011 can't repeat the feat only three years later, after a similar turnover of players, and now in a higher division ? Well, we know that sometimes the nice guys DO win !! UTA !!

Looks amazing! Like the look of the goals the net looks closer to the goal line than last year's nets

    New white goal nets.

To help Simon church find them?
  • Am I wrong in thinking that there were / are going to be club badges in the corners of the pitch also ?

Looks like the roof on the East Stand is sagging a bit. A few downpours and the new A-Blockers will be having a wash!! ;-)

Don't want to sound ungrateful but wish they'd done the west upper this summer. Only thing letting the ground down at the moment.

I wish I wasn't working late. I'd go just to see that pitch regardless of the jokers running around on it! Working Saturday until 5:30 too - FFS!!!!!!!!
