I think we could regret letting Waggy go personally but trust in SCP.

O'Driscoll took him on loan when at Bournemouth, so knows him well.

Good for him, not really good enough for where we are and hopefully where we are going but part of our history and always a 100 percenter. Thanks Waggy, see you in the cup.

Did you guys also regret us barely playing him last season where we finished 9th in the championship?

Tbh yes. I thought many times at home when we looked very poor that Waggy could offer us something. Not saying SCP was wrong. That's just what I thought.

I thought he deserved a better chance in the Championship, but CP knows best. Seems strange if we haven't got a pot to piss in we're letting him go.

One of his best games. Scored a great goal and set up Solly in the last minute.

    Good luck to him

Just told my Bristol city supporting mate about SW. He reckons Baldock is signing for another club soon. Been left out of two opening pre season games.

Good for him - Bristol City have had financial troubles but in a smaller squad he'll have a chance to develop his game and bounce back.

Decent League One club. Good move for both parties.

    Good luck to him.

I liked him, but he was very frustrating. Seemed to spend all game trying to talk to the ref or pleading for free kicks. If he'd just got on with the game I think he'd have had more of a chance to keep playing.

I'm a fan, think He'll do we'll there and I reckon will be back as a key member of a Championship team in a year. Good luck Scott.

With Waggy the phrases 'run his socks off' and 'gave it 110%' will be mentioned all day long. Fact is he, along with a few other players, aren't good enough for where we're at. Letting him go frees up money, simple. Is a great signing for a L1 team. Seems a nice lad and hope he does well.

Is that right BFR? I thought Steve Lansdown was picking up the tab for them including the cost of building a new stadium?
Anyway, good luck to Waggy, a player that always gave his all for the team.

Good luck Waggy, really thought he would end up at Bradford. If he plays can see him picking up 10 goals a season.

    Fixed for you.

Why do some many posters find it hard to just wish Waggy well without including a dig?

I think he is still to find his position. I personally don't think it will eventually be out wide. Maybe this move will help him in that respect.
