  • Gave away the pen for the Crewe winner.
  • Was his fault on Saturday - poor penalty to give away. The telling point was when we let him go, he didn't go to another Championship club, but to league one. Couldn't have been the terrible decision some were claiming. Having said that, he is a high end league one player with potential and I am surprised overall that City are struggling. O'Driscoll is a decent manager, but I suspect he has lost the fans. I expect them to improve, but they need to start soon!
  • Aside from Fuller, none of the players let go are playing in the Championship - I hope it is the same next summer
  • Surprised to see them bottom. You have to respect their faith in O'Driscoll.

I remember him saying some strange things whilst battling relegation last year - results don't matter but performances do:

I suspect the reason he only had league one to choose from is as much to do with the fact that he didn't have many games under his belt from last season as any skill level. That level of match fitness makes a difference.

I suspect that it is pretty much his current level.
  • Looking at league 1 Dave Mooney isn't doing bad!
