  • Just either side of 20,000, and I hope that all their fans are as nice as WorksopRichard.
Cheers for that. Just got off phone to our ticket office. On hold 40 minutes due to demand !! Over 1500 now sold and we are getting the extra 1,000 tickets. Definitely expect 2,500 and fingers crossed for full 3,000. Now coming down on an early coach, leaving at 7 a.m !

22,000 - if we win this one it will be very, very difficult for us to mess up automatic promotion (would have to lose about six of our remaining twenty games).

Leave it out, with Sheff Utd possibly selling out their end if we dont get this one over 20,000 I will be gutted for a 1st v 2nd match
I hope your right! I was thinking that some fans may not be able to afford to go at this time of year.

This game is huge for us now. A win and we'll be 7 clear with a game in hand. Sheff Utd know where the goal is so expect alot of goals, last game we played at The Valleyw as 5-3 wasn't it?

    CAFCofficial Charlton Athletic FC
Charlton have sold 800 match tickets for Saturday's game v Sheffield United today alone. Trust me, that's a big daily sale number (MW) #cafc

    Worksop.
Met some 'Boro fans a while ago who said they drove to Luton, parked up and got a through train to London Bridge (Thameslink?) and then a train on to Charlton, the London Bridge 'change' is easy, and the Valley is about two minutes from Charlton station. Their logic was the time and aggro saved by not going through London, especially going home...think it may have been an evening match.
  • We are now well on the way to 3,000 sold tickets. Surely 25k+? Looking forward to a good game at a proper football stadium, and hopefully we will be in London later in the evening celebrating 3 points nearer to a return to the Championship, having said that a point will do!
