  • On the basis of that and assuming Sheff U do basically sellout, I reckon it'll be approx 1500 on the day, so 21,500
  • possible Airman is trying to ensure nobody is put off from turning up on the day, hence playing it down a bit.
  • I just don't think we get that big walk-ups Bexley Dan, I would be surprised if anyone in the country does what with internet mobile phones etc these days, people all buy their tickets in advance. My mate who's a wednesday fan bought his online the day before the game and turned up with a paper printout of an e-mail

We couldn't physically sell 7,000 on the day, but it's academic as the walk-up won't be anything like that. Normally we sell about 2,000 home on the day; we are geared up for more than that but if there was going to be, say, double that, we'd be able to read it across from the advance sales.

The current gate is about 19,000. The final gate will be in the range 21,000-22,500, I'd estimate.

Still very good with no offers on.
  • "Still very good with no offers on"

There is Fanny on the pitch at HT :-)
  • Thanks Airman - customer intelligence at its finest - the master. How many sausage rolls would you predict shifting? To within the nearest 50 will do.
  • 21789 was my prediction. Airman, the legend, says 21750. I'll go for 926 sausage rolls sold tomorrow.
  • One less I'm afraid, been in bed with the flu since Tuesday, I'll have a late fitness test in the morning but the wife's already warned me that I'm facing a losing battle!

    Gutted...

    (22),(36)(5).

Hollands, Kermorgant and Morrison's numbers. We will win 3-0 and these three players will score in that order.

    Airman Brown says:
Currently we have about 7,000 home seats available plus restricted views,

Just me being curious but where are the restricted view seats? Can't say I've ever noticed any myself......................
  • East Stand at the top I assume and West Upper has some nice poles in the way
  • 23,352 (fingers crossed!)

Me too. Only one roof prop in the whole ground and that is in the Jimmy Seed. No problem at the back of the east or west I know of. I have noticed that some seats have barriers that might cause an issue as there is a platform at the bottom of a flight of steps and then they split either way?

We had restricted view seats in North Upper a few seasons ago and it's as you say TT, because of the barriers at the top of the stairs where the stewards always stand near the end of the game, they are more of a problem than the barriers! The amount of times I've had to ask the stewards to move when we had a corner etc was ridiculous
