Cheers, mate. I'll be listening on the radio though. Oh without a doubt, mate. They would have had the 3 home ends you lot would be in the away nend, there would also be a beam back at the Sty. I think the game could go either 2 ways. It will either be goals galore, or it will be won by a single goal. I'd love a win but i'd be very happy with a draw.
All the Blades on here seem to be reasonable, realistic people. They all seem to think a point would be great.
I appreciate their modesty, but we better not be fooled. I've got a nasty feeling that United present a more formidable challenge than Wednesday, which will be played out on the deck as opposed to the stratosphere. It's going to be a very different game. I'd love to see it, and even contemplated checking EasyJet prices, but I'd have to fly in Sat morning, and its just too risky. I'm glad we are at full strength cos this is going to be the sternest test of the season.
Just want to add a note of thanks for the route/parking and pre-match lubrication advice. I also want to reassure all Addicks Fans that we're nothing like the a-holes in blue and white that we have to share a city with. I understand a few of you had a bit of grief after derailing the "Massives" and I trust the same didn't occur at our place. Yes we'll be loud, boisterous northern gobsh...s (even though I live in Essex these days!) but we just want to have a good time and wouldn't cause any bother unless it was caused to us. Congratulations on a great season so far, I hope it continues, and I hope we can both leave this division and the "unclean" well behind in May. Looking forward to what should be a great game between the best 2 sides in the Division! All the best!
Blimey, these blades are a friendly bunch, considering asking if one will babysit for me after the game, not in a West Ham way though......23,000 but dreaoming of beating last weeks figure between the two biggest teams in the league
Just went down to buy my tickets. According to the staff there we have basically hit the twenty thousand mark so they are expecting about 21,000 ish in total. Could be chaotic on the day if there are loads of walk-up purchasers!
We need an update on ticket sales. Also the Sheff Utd web site is in need of an update as it still says they have 700 tickets left which I am sure is not right.
Currently we have about 7,000 home seats available plus restricted views, so there is no possibility of us selling out home stands tomorrow. When looking at blocks which appear to be sold out on the online ticketing, bear in mind that we have to bulk print large numbers of tickets for cash sale and contingencies, so these appear to be sold but in fact will be available to us in one way or another on the day.
However, we are running low in the north upper and NW quad. These areas will sell out.
We continue to advise you to buy in advance if you can to avoid queuing (new collections system in operation tomorrow in the old Corner Flag) and for best choice of remaining seats. Telephone/personal sales until 5pm, internet sales until 9am tomorrow and telepehone/personal open from 10am tomorrow. Valley Express bookable until 11am or so tomorrow.

I thought you were a big club, Sheff Wed would have sold 1.5 million by now. :-)

Although still hope we smash them 4-0!
Put those Blades to the Charlton sword and show them just how sharp us cockneys in SE7 can be.
