It feels like things have grown since 2019. I’m not really sure why that would be because we’ve been tosh for most of that time, but these playoffs have felt like a much bigger event than 2019. Especially that home semi-final against Wycombe, that felt like the biggest “event” of any Charlton home match I’ve ever been to.

Hasn't been block by block so far so would be odd to be block by block now as presumably tickets have been sold in all of them

How does that work? So far upper tier has been open in any Charlton block. 

Surely you cant now go block by block, as it's likely theres tickets already sold in every block.

I think that is definitely playing a part - I know a good few who missed out in 2019 who are super keen to make sure they are there this time. I also think the fact the club is in a more stable position now to where it was in 2019 means fans are more bought in, and that enthusiasm is passed on to family members/those who don't come every week. Either way it feels like we are drawing more and more people in and that's very exciting. Let's hope we can make it count.

There simply has to be a lot more fans engaged with the club now than back then.

Unfortunately never got a response back to my email re: multiple seasons of Charlton TV so will be one of those hoping to get this all sorted today.

I know that I’ll get in one way or another but would be nice to have this sorted sooner rather than later to ease the anxiety given that my non-refundable 10 hour flight each way is already booked lol

I think the 25k number confirms what a lot of people suspected in that half of the middle tier didn't go on sale yet.

I saw a few people saying based on the greyed out areas we'd sold 30k or just over.

Sat in block 534 at the Euros in 2021. Of course you're further back than the lower tier but you get a better view of the whole pitch, even from the corner

I don’t think there was really anyone boycotting Wembley tickets. The difference between then and now is that we have an ownership that is actively involved and trying to increase attendances. You can argue about their methods or how well they are doing it, but they are trying which is more than Roland was doing in 2019 and that has clearly made some difference

I went most home and away games last time. Since then moved to Hove and couldn't be arsed going to many games first half of this season, it was so bad. Now really worried i won't get tickets today

box office events like these are just more of a draw than they were in 2019.  Wembley concerts cost £100+ a ticket and coldplay can sell out 10 nights at Wembley (nearly 1,000,000 people) having only played there two years ago for multiple nights.

It is crazy now how quickly box office events sell out and how expensive they are, but people have way more FOMO than even 6 years ago.  it might be COVID lockdown psychology at play, but has been the case since lockdown

I am not surprised at all that Chartlon (and friends of Charlton) will likely sell 45k tickets

Probably 9k seats left now plus reasonably likely we get another 5k if needed from Orient. Absolutely no reason to worry imo

Appears to be a few clusters of seats available at the front of some of the lower tier blocks now. Imagine they will go quite quickly at 2pm though

Blocks 136 and 135 lower behind the goal have opened up again with quite a few tickets on them for anyone not wanting to be in the gods as they say.

The likelihood is much of those greyed out sections have actually been sold to Charlton fans, but they won’t be counted in the figures of Charlton fans there as they are bought direct from Wembley / third parties
