    If it’s any comfort, the one thing I’ve learned from every single sold out away game or ‘big game’, tickets ALWAYS become available in the run up to the game due to drop outs in groups. 

    Any Charlton fan that wants a ticket to this will get one, 100%.

    You can only buy 7 tickets in one transaction.

    If you want to maximise your tickets/ST ratio you'd have to make multiple transactions.

    The cynics might say that the transaction fee being levied may be influencing the 7-ticket limit.

    They are, but if you have 4 family members on your link to your profile you can only buy 7 tickets in one transaction not the 12 if they all bought separately.

    Anyone wanting to buy an 8 together running the buying operation solo, and if Charlton's daft policy of allowing single seats left behind is in play, go for a cock-block technique - buy 7 together and leave an awkward single, non aisle-seat next to it. Unless it's a rapidly shrinking block, no one will buy it, come back and scoop it up in the next transaction.

    I have no idea if the club will be allowed to configure the sales site to leave spare singles, but we'll find out tomorrow.

    Or log in in Chrome & Edge concurrently, under different cafc accounts, if that's within your skillset, and line the tickets up on different screens. Subject to the random queue times and basket hold times, obviously.

    The 7 rule is Wembley imposed, not CAFC. Guess it is an anti bot / anti touting thing.

    Any idea if we will get to pick the seat we want or do we just choose what category/block we want and get what we are given. If it's the latter then that makes the 7 ticket per transaction even more stupid.

    So can anyone explain how you go about the process of linking 2 season tickets to get your 7?

    Is it at the point of purchase, or are we supposed to do something before hand to make sure we are set up?

    EDIT - Worked it out - its the Manage my relationships option i presume.

    Fans can link their ticketing accounts to ensure they sit together, but should be aware that any one supporter can only purchase up to seven tickets per transaction, which could only be done by linking accounts.

    Can anyone explain how you link valley gold to your account, my dads had VG for years but not sure how he takes advantage of it in phase 3 as he doesn’t get to too many game anymore as he’s getting on. Does he just need to add the VG number when purchasing?

    You don’t need to do anything. VG is automatically linked to your fan ID when you sign up for it.

    So we go as a group of 5 season ticket holders and want to get 6 extra for family. Most important is the 5 ST's sit together. So I go on and buy our 5 together. Can I then log back on to buy the other 6 as friends of the 5?

    Do the relationships need to be listed as "Strong Relationship" to be able to log in using each others' accounts' purchasing power? 

    Or... Will "Friends and Family" and appearing mutually when logging in suffice?

    Not worried mate i just think its ridiculous for the reasons as stated. How many people who are not in the early phases will still look and slow down the website once its opened.

    Why not do just two and i suspect it will be E Ticket you can always come back later and get more if there are some available.

    I think it's because their large coach and car park opens at 8am, so they can then sell them breakfast & drinks.

    But wouldn't it be Wembley stewards doing the checking......and the concessions for students is a Wembley thing, nothing to do with the club.

    I'm interested in this aspect as we have a student in our party of 4 and they are now 22.

    I think the police and council prefer it to the alternative of people getting cans and drinking randomly. Beer with your breakfast.
