I hope everyone is planning to get to the match early.
I predict chaos at the turnstiles as with Season tickets you do not need the bar code or even open the plastic wallet. Just tap and go.
Everyone with print at home tickets or with two or more tickets on their phone is going to mean long queues even if they do scan and so many would not have used them before.2 -
Definitely the case.Redrobo said:I hope everyone is planning to get to the match early.

Could be because the capacity reduced with the safe standing, believe it's now 26,875Siv_in_Norfolk said:So... we can't get a 27,111 attendance even when we give the whole Jimmy Seed stand to the away team...
Why not?1 -
Just a heads up for those still looking - twice today (06/05) on checking ticket page, pairs of seats (just 2 each time) have appeared in Covered End and West Stand - perhaps as people get their seats swopped they become available ? Might be worth checking if you still need tickets. They go pretty sharply!1

I would imagine most of us will be standing throughout for this one, at least in the Covered End. I seem to recall that was what happened against Donny in the play off 2nd leg.ButtleJR said:

I expect the same.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
When they reached the play offs 3 years ago, they got 2,200 for MK Dons and sold out, so they are capable of traveling. I'd be surprised if they sell out against us though, so many of their fans seem to think the tie is a formality for us, so i wonder if a lot just won't bother or will decide once the first leg result is known.WhenIwasLittleBoy said:Why have we given Wycombe all the Jimmy Seed stand? They can hardly sell 4,000 for a home game, just give them half and put our fans in the half as we did against Doncaster.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see them send about 1,200 back and the JS ends up segregated.
Mind you if they beat us on Sunday maybe not.0 -

Perhaps my idea about selling season ticket holders their seats last week was not the lol you initially thought!SoundAsa£ said:So sorry for all you folk that are having, what seem to be, unfathomable fuck-up’s.
It’s looking like a massive balls up with all sorts of problems cropping up in so many different guises.
Good luck with your efforts. 🤞0 -
Just realised there can’t be any Charlton fans in the Jimmy Seed even if Wycombe can’t sell their allocation because somehow, someone must have agreed they could sell their tickets up until lunchtime on the day of the match (and give refunds for returned tickets)

Wait, are you saying huge game + first time with a new ticketing system + massive crowd doesn’t = a smooth experience getting into the stadium?Redrobo said:I hope everyone is planning to get to the match early.

You do. But sometimes the scanner will just not recognise the ticket and a steward will eventually come and help. If that doesn’t work he will let you in through a gate.valleynick66 said:

You can just tap season tickets but scanning usually takes 3 or 4 times longer even if it works first time!Redrobo said:

It's like being in a queue to get through the barriers at a station. If you see lots of people with QRs on paper (not cardboard) tickets or fumbling about on their phone, you are going to have to wait much longer to through! Drives me mad!0 -
I thought it was so easy clicked on the link in the email paid and had my seat sorted within 5 minutes.1

It let me back in on my phone, but I had to do a sliding shape Captcha first! I think it detected unusual activity, probably my repeated attempts to get past the "add to basket" box...carly burn said:
Seems to be working now. Some poor soul probably been up all night trying to fix it.killerandflash said:
It's baffling that yesterday I could log into my account on my Android phone to buy my home ticket, but today to buy my away ticket couldn't log in on my phone (in either Chrome or Opera), getting the same message BUT can log into my account on my Android tablet (in Chrome), and my PC just now (also in Chrome)carly burn said:Anyone else still having issues logging into their ticketing account?
I can log into the OS ok but when I go to ticketing and sign in I get ' An error has occurred. Please try again later.'
Been like it most of the day.0 -

Just showing off now 😉2 -
I left it a bit late but got a ticket in my usual season ticket seat. I'd ideally get a couple near my mates when they go back on general sale. Am i able to 'sell' my season ticket i've bought back to the club and get a refund?0
-
If anyone wants a ticket in the Alan Curbishley stand. I have got one in block A. I will let you have it for nothing.2
-
Don't know how I missed it, but that's the first time I've seen that the safe standing lost us that much in capacity. Shame we're under 27k now.ButtleJR said:

There's gonna definitely be 3 going tomorrow in West Lower Block A, Row B if you wanna sit behind a fat thumb head, Draco Malfoy and some twat who shouts at you for not being a fan if you don't stand up!Reading Addick said:im after a couple of tickets if anyone has spares20 -

Yes, you could be sitting next to me and the giant tifo Mrs Baldy is knitting.grumpyaddick said:Why was the last section in the West Stand (next to Jimmy Seed) in an ominous black colour??
It was the only available section by the time I had sourced a Mac so had no choice but to go for it.
Is that a no toilet zone?
Will I have to pretend to support Wycombe?
Or something worse?2 -
Why do you think I moved!Reading Addick said:

They sold the Jimmy Seed and 2 blocks of the East for the league cup-quarter final. I expect they'll fill the Jimmy (!) for such a big game.WhenIwasLittleBoy said:Why have we given Wycombe all the Jimmy Seed stand? mk dons to Wycombe wanderers is barely 40 miles away, I wouldn’t use that as proof they travel in large numbers0 -
I also have still not had email confirmation -I got an email saying that emails "are taking slightly longer than usual to arrive" and asking me to wait until Friday (9th) to contact them again. The word 'slightly' is strange as usually I get an email within 5-10 minutes but by now it is a good 48 hours-hardly 'slightly'! There is still a bit of me fearing that the ST seats I picked for the semi final may end up being released tomorrow even though I have an order number and can see the tickets in my account-a pity the system does not have a 'print' option available?NorthheathAddick said:
