Maidstone manager on Casey’s loan. It’s only for an initial 28 days.

Tanganga available is interesting. Thought he was decent at spurs. What went wrong?

been brilliant for Millwall, has some sort of release clause but only for premier league clubs I think

Throw this out there .. expect a reaction but given his performances since April  to today should we cash in on TC while his stock is still high ? and get a better player with championship experience ?

No we don't sell him but his place in the team shouldn't be guaranteed either with Olaofe capable of playing there.

If we want to switch to playing 2 up top in the middle, e.g. in a conventional 352/532, then a more conventional RWB might be useful.

I think it's very high risk settling a Japanese player into our squad without any support infrastructure. If he was Jamaican he will have a ready built network. If we do it we should get in half a dozen.
There must be a fair chance that Kai Enslin can speak Japanese. Many fellow countrymen in our leagues.

JRC apparently was very good there for Blackburn.

I wouldn't personally, no, but killerandflash and fenaddick both mentioned needing alternatives at RWB.

I wouldn't leave him out either but he can't play 100% of the minutes and occasionally we need different options. Plus competition makes players better

Plan A has us with TC as a left sided inverse winger and Apter in the Small role as a right sided inverse winger in attack who also defends like a wing back, but there will be times when we may want 2 strikers through the middle, with the width only coming from the wing backs. A conventional right wingback would be needed for that.

    I wouldn’t call it a small role.  ;)

We might be able to sign six all surnamed Fukuda, especially if we extend our search to cover female players.
Failing that, perhaps Enslin's mum could do the job. She is very enthusiastic, apparently.

There are no small roles, just small footballers.

Just seen Fukuda's Kyoto Sanga sweep aside FC Tokyo 4-0 to go back on top of the J-League. Chasing their first ever title. No way he's leaving before it's settled in December.

  • Aren’t we playing 4-1-4-1 at the moment?

Same as last season, 5-3-2 when defending an 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 in possession.

Apter even told Cawley he’s playing wing back.

No Rak-Sakyi in the squad at all for palace today.

Surely has a move lined up if that’s the case as they have a bunch of kids on there.

it couldn’t be us could it?

He also didn't play for the U21s in the week so I think he's off somewhere but I still think it's unlikely to be us

I'm still thinking it will be Southampton if Dibling goes to Everton. Would absolutely love it to be us but expect him to be going somewhere permanent.

Maybe Leicester, as part of a deal for El Khannouss?

Wouldn't be a bad idea actually! Could see that as an option.
