Isn't Bell kind of a player who plays in the Edwards area of the pitch? Defensively at least.
Or is it about Bell and Gillesphey?
Apparently bell can’t play there anymorw
Bell played there for Luton in some games at the end of last season, and their form was one of the best in the championship, so he can’t have been that bad there. JRC would also be an option out there

Jones must think Bell can still play there, otherwise we’d be getting linked with LWBs rather than RWBs

Why couldn't the owners put this sort of money in place last season?

Would have made things a bit easier... ;)

It would have done, probably would have got second and not worry about playing offs but the sentiment is there atleast and I applaud them for what they've done soo far.

Dharmesh is about as legit as it gets save from the club itself or Cawley

Fair play to the owners. If Fukuda and Knibbs or Donley also arrive this tops the Chris Powell League 1 title winning transfer window for me.

I expect Rich to post something now. I feel he usually waits until it’s out there before confirming anything.

I don’t doubt bell’s technical ability or positional awareness to do the role. I’d just question whether he has the engine and pace to manage the intensity and speed of executing the press and being able to recover back into position.
No, he doesn't. Bell has lost speed. That is why Luton thought he was not up to League One promotion standard. Joe Bennett used to be quick. He will do for now, as Edwards does not miss many games. By January, Kai Enslin will be ready.
This isn't based in any fact. Luton didn't think he wasn't up to L1 promotion standard, that has never once been said. Some Luton fans said he isn't as quick since his injury and that has mostly been taken as gospel on here, and as such he's not the flying wingback he once was. I'll bet he's still quicker than Edwards though and quite capable of playing LWB even if he's mostly been signed to play LCB. We signed him on a free transfer because Luton couldn't afford to keep a lot of their players after a double relegation and we offered football a division up.

Because we had an SMT who were telling the owners it was not needed (8/8/8 and poorly scouted options).  they can only respond to what they are told by the people that work for them.

Not 100% on it. Feels like we need a lot of Godden influence to make the step up and pass the baton. Can't question the ambition though.

    In NJ we trust.

Because they had to spend it on getting a structure in place and a foundation to build the club on and move forward after 12 years of neglect and assist stripping
