Can probably include most of us in that.

Seems like we are definitely after a RWB, which says to me that Asiimwe will go out on loan, and that Ramsay will stay at RCB, with Apter and a new signing as the wing back options. Happy with that
This lembikisa wasn’t good enough for one of the worst defensive L1 sides last year hopefully we have our eyes on someone a bit better
Hey, he's only on trial..... we're just taking a look at him.
True but his signing would be underwhelming but we are a way of that point at the moment although would Wolves let him play if there wasn’t something in the offing?
Danny mills, the Norwich reserve right back was underwhelming. How did that turn out?

Well we're defo in the market for a RWB. Which I think we need. Whether its Fukuda, this fella or a prem loan. Which I think is right. Ramsay should stay at RCB. We have Apter as an attacking option there and so a conventional RWB as cover/different option is ideal imo.
  • Latest Rumour striker Callum Robinson from Cardiff - can't see it myself age 30 only 5ft 10' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callum_Robinson
This would be a shrewd signing. Was very impressive in a poor Cardiff side. I'd be happier with this than Kelman.

Dexter seems a Jones type of signing. Point to prove, good profile physically. Couple of decent loans. If we can get him on the cheap. Seems a small, Ramsey type signing
3 starts in half a season for Barnsley is a lot less impressive though. Same for his loan in Switzerland in the first half of last season.
Pretty much the same as Small and Ramsey.. not massively pulling up trees
Maybe, but is he better than Asiimwe?
Yes, that’s the biggest question.. I would say Jones thinks so

But allows Asiimwe to go out on loan and get minutes, whilst Dexter might take his place of sitting on the bench with sporadic minutes.

@DubaiCAFC normally has his finger on the pulse, he's been quiet with info lately.
Might be thinking of another poster, but thought his source received info from Methven. So that'll be why they're quiet.
Yes many people thought that, but he always denied it.
Methven departs and the rumours stopped.
Wrong again! As I said, I never spoke to him. My source was some different,, if there source was Merhven, that might be true
    Linda Methven??
She’s an absolute rocket.. Coldplay style

Rodwell saying he still expects a “couple” of incomings and some outgoings as well. Mentioned Mbick Kanu and Fullah as players that could potentially be loaned out

Fullah out on loan would be interesting, Top of the National League or League 2 do people reckon that have seen a fair bit of him?

Better than the underwhelming signings of Allan Campbell, Dan Potts, Lewis Ward, Lewis Fiorini, LuaLua, Tyreeq Bakinson and the very very many of underwhelming and turned out to be rubbish signings, since the underwhelming and turned out to be good signing of Danny Mills some 15 yrs ago.

Think with any of our players that haven’t played much league football at all they will only get non-league interest. I’d be surprised if Fullah went out tbh, he’s still very young

Interestingly he specifically mentioned L1/L2 rather than National League

That's very interesting to hear , obviously expected it with Kanu but wasn't that sure about Mbick or Fullah going L2.

I’d like him on our bench but could understand a L2 loan. Might need time to settle into senior football but if he went to L2 I’d expect him to have good season and play at a higher level the following season.

Good chance to see more of him as he’s on for Edwards at LWB.
  • I take it that means the Japanese lad isn’t coming then

Or it’s a deal that make time to come to an agreement? From what we know he’s out of contract in January, they won’t want to lose him for nothing.

Can see this being one that if it happens might take a while with all the eligibility criteria etc

That's because the club are concerned about loaning players to clubs with part time training and poor facilities.

Some young players are returning to Charlton without top fitness and poor habits.

Am i the only one that thinks Godden and Berry's "slight calf strain" is the classic ruse for players a club wants to keep fit so they can offload? Also with Kaminski not  playing either i guess he's back on the market...(last bit was a joke. I am not going full Ronnie)

Hopefully the players going out that Rodwell mentioned aren’t any of Coventry, Jones or Ramsey. To me they are the most important cogs in the machine.

Thing is if that was the case who would they go to. 33 34 so not getting better, Arguably not good enough for any serious championship club to look at and there wages are probably more than most L1 clubs can afford. Not to mention Berry was injured back end of last year and Godden was our top scorer and someone NJ brought in himself would seem very strange if either did go

I’d be surprised if we offloaded Godden, unless we do push the boat out for at least one more striker .  Berry wouldn’t be a shock.

Can't see Godden going anywhere, will still have a huge role to play with his experience. All about managing his fitness really.

Berry I'm on the fence about with the Carey signing and with what Blackpool fans have said about Apter projecting as a 10. Ultimately I think he stays but I wouldn't be surprised if he's not a regular.

Feel like one way or another, Berry will end up back at Cambridge.

Think he will finish his contract here as he will have a role to play from the bench. I can't see him starting, but he would offer us something as an impact sub.

I feel the same way about Godden, think it will be a case of managing his minutes and either Tanto, Leaburn or the new (expected) mystery striker will be the main forward.

Both good options in the Championship, especially Godden.

Has Ollie Mcburnie found a new club yet wage demands would be very high but exactly what we need in a striker?
