Id like us to sign Hindolo Mustapha. At 19 we could get away with not starting him but he seems a monster (without having seen him play). The JRS loan could put us in a good place.

    He seems to be a 6, 8 or 10.
Signing players that you haven’t see play? Do you have a hard shot?

    welcome back sandgaard junior

Who will help these new players find accommodation and sort out other problems now Tracey has left?

Yes we have more income in the Championship,  and yes we clearly need to spend more to survive,  but this does feel like quite a change in strategy by the owners, even from January when we just brought in two squad filling loan players,  rather than "statement " signings.
    Agreed.

    Perfectly put.

Heard we’re in for Damari Daley at Norwich and Charlie McCann at Forest Green.

Could be so good for us.
Not sure they'll like to commute.  They're both based in Winchester.

When are we going to "cull"" the squad. Lots have to be moved on surely.

They were your heroes 6 weeks ago 🙂
It is useless taking that approach with Timken. He has a steel ball-bearing for a heart.

She hasn't left yet but it will be an issue for the next window.

Being hinted elsewhere that this could be Barnsley's replacement for DKD.

Love it if we could get in DKD. Would really top off this window which has already exceeded expectations.
If we are looking at Barnsley I'd also like us to go for Adam Phillips 27 Y/o goalscoring midfielder. Gets his fair share of assists as well.

Not sure what to think at the moment RE: Keillor-Dunn, given that Cawley said earlier today that he knew of no progression with a deal between Charlton / Barnsley.

Of course, doesn't mean that something isn't happening...

Phillips was linked to shock horror Preston and Swansea in Jan but obviously nothing came of that

  • Personally I’d now go all out for Josh Windass, adds loads of championship experience has a good goal in him and would add some bite in the attack

I think it was on one of Rich Cawley’s podcasts someone asked about him and he wasn’t a player we’re interested in.

DKD has Wrexscum written all over it especially as Rathbone (probably their best player) is injured now

it could be an exiting ride.
What exactly is an "exiting" ride? One where you immediately rush for the exits?

Would we be interested in Jerry Yates , 28 years old proven championship goal scorer - similar style to Godden - available and not expensive ?

Would be fun just for the reaction from Blackpool fans and Linfieldos.

If anything I think we need to have another Quick Look at any Luton players, just to make sure

As I said on the other thread,  Michael Smith is the one I'd fancy. The sort of experienced big target man we don't have in our squad.

I'm sure they will have as a replacement in 6 months time. As sad as Tracey leaving is, life goes on like any role or staff member leaving a place of work and being the pro she is I'm sure she will have left processes and relationships in place to ensure a smooth transition.

I would question his attitude based on his expression here. Too gormless!

I wouldn't be disappointed with getting Michael Smith in. Adds something coming off the bench with Championship experience

I've been wrong about Wrexham numerous times so i'll probably look stupid again. But I think their penchant for aging 'big names' will catch up with them. Gonna get stuck with loads of leggy old blokes soon.

Haven't checked the dates but Michael Smith would of likely worked under Nathan here in 2012/2013? as others have said i'd like to see him come in, adds what we haven't got currently

Smith and Pigott scored the goals when we won 2-1 at Cardiff under Jones in the U21 final.
