Shelvey would be another Ben Watson. He's finished.

No from me. Could only feel he will be collecting a wage and not really giving a toss.

Give me a signing with something to prove any day of the week.
I’m not so sure how much he gave a toss first time round.

Could the defender be James Bree?

Wouldn't fit the double deal from one club that Pav mentioned but I could see him being someone NJ looks at as an RWB option.

I’ve said it already, but Aasgaard would be a superb signing! I really hope we could attract him. Don’t think he’d be out of the £2million price bracket we seem to be shopping in.

Can see Aasgaard going on one of those weird loans to a higher division. Luton are unlikely to recoup what they paid in January and won’t want to just cut their losses 6 months in

    Cue the cheese puns! 🧀
Could learn a lot about attacking set plays from Danny Stilton

Yeah I can't see Luton selling him on a permanent after 6 months , might be why Witcoop has Stoke tagged.

One Luton fan’s reaction on social media… (also a Charlton lad asking if he’s good enough for a team chasing automatic promotion lol)

Others saying we’ve had their pants down at £1m. Another saying he should be about £3 or 4 million…

Luton’s average attendance last season was 11,550. This coming season it will likely be sub 8,000. They need to cut costs. I don’t know but Kaminski will be into his third season there if he stays so maybe his deal is up at the end of the coming season. If so then 3m or so is cloud cookoo land. Luton fans need to get used to the fact they are not in the PL, even Championship, anymore.

From what I understand from a few interviews and things , Luton put the PL money into building their new stadium and the lorry load of stuff they had to do to make Kenilworth Road PL level behind the scenes. Think a double relegation even with 2 years of parachute payments left means any high earners or anyone they could get a solid fee for will be picked off by the Championship.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them link back up with Rob Edwards at Boro

Looked at Dean Keily's carreer on Wiki, he joined us as a 29year old and left when he was 36. So Kaminski, as a 32 year old is in the middle of this range. He sounds a similar style keeper, great shot stopper, doesn't come for crosses (info from a Luton mate). Mannion's real strength is dominating the box. Look at the playoff final, he snuffed out Orient's attacking threat, by coming out and claiming the ball. The question is, in the Championship, the crosses will be more accurate and maybe, the style of goalkeeping changes.
I must admit that I like a keeper to do both, but maybe, the skill sets are different.
Non of our goalkeepers, are grat penalty savers, and maybe that makes the difference. Having Kaminski as No 1 and Mannion as No 2 appears to be a good combination.
Similarly ,we signed Kiely form a poor and relegated Bury side if my memory serves me right?

It’s the very faint talks that made me chuckle, not sure what that means. Good player though, head and above in League 2 last season.

It does say not sure if sources are reliable but it hasn’t given us the sources so god knows

Sod all to do with Charlton transfer rumours but Luton's average crowd won't be below 8,000 next season.

Also a very faint chance of Messi joining in a double swoop.

Wouldn’t be surprised if one of these accounts posted that

I think the source is someone's asked him where he sees himself this coming season and he's sought out a huge Charlton badge to point at

Don't think Shelvey is NJ's type of player at all.
