We saw last season that you need a core starting eleven that know each other and how they play. Bringing new players in is all well and good but it puts the team back to being a bunch of strangers again. Only finding that core eleven in December isn’t really an option this coming season. We need to be looking to pick up points from the start and to keep it going. We may not win or draw every game but that has to be the aim.0

On the way back from Wembley, we had our flag proudly flying from the car. We stopped at the lights, and a car full of so-called Orient fans pulled up alongside, honking their horn and giving us dogs’ abuse. Naturally, I gave some back and said, “At least you lot can enjoy watching your first team, West Ham, in the Premier League next season!” That seemed to calm them down—one of them leans out and says, “Actually mate, three of us are West Ham fans!” Bit of an irrelevant story, I know—but my point is, there really weren’t too many proper Orient fans at Wembley!9

It's an interesting discussion around ' vile ' supporters . I live walking distance from Brisbane Road and like them. I love their Supporters Club Bar. There is no Orient segment of London. You go north you hit Spurs , west Arsenal and east West Ham.
When we started playing them recently I felt the vibe changed a bit. I didn't like the way they celebrated their Virtue Cup win and started singing ' Premier League and you f...ked it up' and some of their fans complained about the away end almost as if their facilities were better.
As a Charlton fan it is interesting. I always felt patronised by fans of Arsenal , Chelsea , Spurs and West Ham in the Premier era. I now accept that those four clubs are much bigger than us.
I see Orient fans having the same sort of relationship with us.4 -

Edit @Richard J I'd deffo say we were patronised by that lot in the Prem, but we rolled them over a few times, so didn't do too bad!4 -
