If Small is on the left we may see TC drift out to the right. Hopefully we find the right balance between TC, Small and Watson, whatever way around they play.
Was just coming to post this. If TC operates on the left it causes a nightmare for their right side of defence, especially as Watson isn’t usually shy to get forward. Small on the left has probably had a big impact on their game plan already
Line-Ups today, with those in red starting the first game of the season, those in blue came off the bench up at Wigan, as Charlton went on to record a 1-0 win.
Interested to see which wing back plays which side. Suspect we will keep Small on the right at least from the start but might mix it up in game.
These next 10 games are where our squad cutting strategy in January comes under scrutiny. A bench like this is fine for the odd game but continue for the rest of the season and we struggle. We dont have that many out, AMB, Edwards, Aneke and Gilbert, anyone else?

shows our consistency of both selection and form .. very good to see .. Wigan pretty much the opposite
I've asked Nathan to make sure we have another one of those tedious first 30 minutes where nothing much happens, before clicking into attacking gear after the break...

Damned if they do damned if they don’t. The whole of CL was screaming that the squad was too big in December. Now because we’ve got a couple out getting rid of the dead wood was a bad idea?
Miles actually mentioned second place in that interview, clearly on everyone's mind now...
Pretty much all the players are talking about chasing down second when interviewed of late
We need to keep winning now regardless, as need to ensure we dont go into the Play-Offs (worse case scenario) at a whimper, as it'll be like 2017/18 against Shrewsbury, after losing 1-0 at Rochdale on the last day, all over again.
My part of the Cupboard End is looking fuller today ... which means an influx of people incapable of reading a combination of letters and numbers and ending up in the wrong seats that belong to others.

If we played our youngsters they'd be called the Cabbage Patch Kids.
