What I would like to see is Birmingham moaning about our negative tactics after the game as that is how you beat them. Also, I don't think they will double up on Small which could help us.
Very tough game against the champions elect. I was so annoyed when they went down last season at it effectively took away 1 promotion spot which seems accurate. How will we do? Who knows but I hope we give a good account of ourselves. Have a feeling May will be in and around their team and might inspire them. 2-0 to Brum but not the end of the world.
We are in good form but Birmingham are flying at the top so it’s going to be tough. I would obviously love 3 points but I would happily take a point and move on
- Thierrys' itchy twitchy Hokey Cokey leg - we have GOD (den) at centre forward - oh yes the Macca diagonal punt -TC -thats Top Cat -and those late late winning goals
I loved our performance against them last time. They were a little shell shocked - I hope we can do the same, though Birmingham being at home and having more time to work on their style of play makes me think it’s going to be very tough.
At the end of the day, they’re in League One and are not unbeatable as we proved in October. Yes, they’re going to get promoted and win the league, but we’ve shown time and time again especially of late that if we turn up and win our battles, we can beat anyone in the league.
There is absolutely no chance that Jones changes the team. I also think that Small will have a lot of joy against Cochrane. That will be a key battle.
Not going to predict the score but I just hope we don’t show them too much respect. If we get in their faces early and put a bit of pressure on them, they’ll know it won’t be a case of having possession 80% of the time and sitting off and letting them play through. That just won’t happen.
A win tomorrow and it will be fantastic, but what it will also do is make the rest of the league sit up and take notice. And a part of me actually would rather we go about our business without the spotlight.
I think they will underestimate us which will be a mistake . Having said that they will be out for revenge. 1-0 Brum then back on the bike at home to Exeter next week.
This is probably the biggest game that TC, Small, Ramsay, AMB and maybe some of the others have played in so far in their short careers. Huge test in every way.
Only from the bench as Jay Stansfield is a 22 year old Championship standard striker who dropped down to league one when Fulham accepted 15 million with add on's may reach 20 million which is crazy amounts for League 1. I would think 3-1 to Birmingham BUT we live in hope that cafc can go another game undefeated.
A tough test but what actually gives me most hope is the fact they have not lost at home yet. That won’t continue the whole season. They are due a defeat at home. Why not tomorrow? COYA.
Looking at their forum, they are such an arrogant bunch. They mostly think they are going to steamroll us tomorrow. I hope we catch them cold and put on a right show!

Have always found them a bunch of arrogant c***s, almost to a man.
I think someone, possibly Kevin Nolan, once referred to Birmingham as "All fur coat and no knickers" - which sounds about right to me.
I grew up in the West Midlands. Most of the Villa and Albion fans I knew were pretty sound. Wolves and Blues fans, mostly knobheads. Birmingham are the Millwall of the Midlands. I hope we absolutely stuff them but they’ve every right to be confident - look at the league table and they’re at home.

same starting eleven but maybe earlier subs if berry and Godden tire

Tough ask.
We have won 5 of our last 6 games, with the same starting 11, and you think NOW is the time to make changes???
Same 11, and same formation. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...
