Ireland get their win with a bonus point. 22-17, just need Wales & Scotland do their job.

Lucky not to have lost, to be honest.

I think Easterby has managed to take himself out of contention for next Irish coach (I really question why Conor Murray was brought on when he was, but I am biased against him, fair enough, give him the last hurrah, but 1 minute would have been enough).

Wasn’t a great game, try disallowed after the conversion for a knock on, also a try disallowed for Lowe being in touch, he never was.

The Lowe one was a huge disappointment, because it would have been a try to remember.

But Italy looked really dangerous, with Ireland being really nervy in both attack and defence.

Just in case anyone thinks I'm only an anti-Murray supporter, I'm also really underwhelmed by Prendergast (because he really cannot tackle, when he tries).

Have hope Pendergast got a red card, so he could go to tackle school.

I doubt Alun Wyn Jones will be joining them -fuck me, he looked more pissed off than he usually does.

Hopefully that’s a red for Mauvaka. Ridiculously stupid

Stays as a yellow. Guarantee if that was England that would’ve been a red

Still stunned that wasn't a red. No reason to go in like that when the game was dead and there was head to head contact. Something not quite right there. Still France can cheat there way to the title but it will take some of the shine off it.

Off to Cardiff tomorrow to watch the game. Always have to watch my behaviour as my wife is Welsh and has bought the tickets!
Ruth Jones was in a box 5 rows behind. Her and her friends were singing for most of the game and having a whale of a time.
My wife announced after the game that she didn’t want to be Welsh any more.

Wonderful to absolutely annihilate them. There seem to be strategic underlying problems in the structure of Welsh rugby, I do hope it takes 20-25 years to sort out!

Ok, tongue in cheek comments, i worked with a prime specimen of Welsh rugby supporting boredom, many years ago, and have still not got over it. God he irritated me!

    Well played England

I know the feeling. Many years ago I was in a hotel in Spain when England played South Africa in the World Cup and a group of Welsh people were loudly supporting the Saffas. It all ended up with fisticuffs.

Anyone but South Africa. They make Indian cricket supporters look mild. RSA rugby supporters are even worse winners tan losers - VEY arrogant and entitled.
