It's good to see the midfield spread out across the pitch with Tiny Tel and TC staying out wide and not being drawn into the middle, clogging up space.

Going to need some patience today. Shrewsbury pressing and harrying very well, but expect that will tire a bit as the game wears on. We need to keep moving them around and probing.
Seems a classic game against Shrewsbury... I know we beat them 6-0 here a few years ago, but nearly every clash with them, whether its here at the Valley or at their place... Its nearly always tight and cagey
In the last nine meetings, there have only been two games where either side has scored more than once in a match
Oh what a move from TC... Sells his Defender on the edge of the area, digs out a cross which flashes across goal, but it finds a Shrews player to clear rather than 1-0
TC's giving the left back all sorts of problems, yet another lovely move into the box just fails to find a foot to touch it in, but surely coming soon...

They are there for the taking.
And those two sentences will no doubt be the kiss of death for us.
The number 3 is by far the weakest link.you'd think that if Shrews score it's coming through him.
But when under pressure, or has a attacker racing towards him. or trying to use his head... thats when he's a liability
It's been relatively entertaining to watch and we're in control but nothing to show for it so far and not many actual chances created.
Technically he reminds me of Dave Shipperley. Great as long as you don't give him the ball.

vulnerable.
Shrews' no 9 lifted the ball over the defender's head then ran straight into him (deliberately) and went to ground.
Play on.
