- The Harris Gallery is very good
- Preston has two 'Spoons
- The pubs around the railway station are nicer though
- Avenham Park is absolutely beautiful as is the River Ribble that runs through it (you can see them from the train)
- Brokholes Nature Reserve is a good place to spot deer
- If it gets called off early enough you could walk the Preston Guild Wheel - of course it might not be the most comfortable of walks should the weather be bad enough to cancel a football match.

If it’s called off at least we’d be in the draw for the fourth round .14

If it’s called off late I will slightly adjust my position on the sofa, pick up my TV remote and change to another channel6

Woolwich had the first McDonalds, Preston the first KFC.1 -

I believe that is one reason no date has been set for the Crawley game.
Club is waiting to see if this game goes ahead first.0 -

Still, £1 a pint wasn't to be sniffed at, even back then.

The prospect of a midweek slog up to Preston in mid January is grim. Kudos to whoever makes that trip should it happen.0

They've just said an additional 208 tickets are now available for the game. Surely they must've had some reassurances that it will be on to announce that?
Edit: that was yesterday at 14:45. My phone decided to send me a notification as if it was just announced!0 -

Am I the only one annoyed that Billy Bob Thornton has us down to lose this one 3-0?
If it does get called off I’m going to his house and will shit through his key hole…3 -

still bet we both enjoyed the rearrange game with Burnley, once again by coach.0 -
Well worth a visit, about a 7 minutes walk from the station, up the high street.

By precedent the Preston game would replace Bolton on Jan 21st. The FA Cup has always had priority.
it’s conceivable it would knock out the home game with Bristol Rovers on Jan 28th instead though as there is a bigger than usual gap to the fourth round.

Also went to Preston- Colchester after Burnley game called off, there were more Charlton there than Colchester, and went to the re arranged Burnley game to see a enthralling 0-0 draw0
-
I too was on that coach to Burnley that diverted to Preston on the way back. I went up to the rearranged Burnley game and my (bitter) memory is of getting beat 3-0 or so with one of the least inspiring away performances ever. It's over 30 years and I have not been back to either ground, although I have a ticket for Preston tomorrow.0

Only alternative for me if this is called off will be climbing deepdale and jumping off it head first.
