Decent half. Thought we played pretty well in patches. They probably had the clearest chance, but we've had a few where we could/should have done better.
Just what I came here to say D. Spot on mate.
My one sensible observation for the year!
And you got it in early, with 361 days to spare!
  • Bloody Sky Bet advert keep on popping up is getting rather tedious...🤦‍♂️
  • We are definitely trying to pass it more, and we do seem to have worked on attacking tactics.

A massive problem with being caught on the break from our corners though, that's their best chance of scoring
kind of agree but Small’s recovery pace nullifies a lot of that risk
  • BBC stats are saying just one shot on target that half - from us.
  • Two decent sides, not much in it, feel our chances have come from us being tenacious and pushing for mistakes from them.

I have to say, TC has been fkn class. Must be very difficult to play against, quick, fairly strong, and has a great instinct. If he can work on his finishing, he will be so good for us.

    Can see us winning this
Once TC finds some consistency in finishing he gets taken by someone higher up imo, got all the tools to be a class player just needs to tie it all together now
Hopefully he can grow with the club.

TC, Leaburn and Small are key to this system. We either have no similar alternative or don’t have one of the same standard.

This 3-5-2/4-2-3-1 hybrid seems to really suit this squad, but I can see it falling apart if any of those three are missing.
  • Second half begins.

And the yellow card goes to Reading!

    Work that one out ...
Nah thats the right decision... Just because Edwards has "fouled" the man first, doesnt mean to say that the Reading player can do what he wants, especially as it was after the whistle had blown
Of course. But why is he immune from a red card just because the whistle’s already gone?
    Edwards didn't foul anyone.

On the commentary they were saying that the Reading player was pushed into the challenge, hence the free kick to them. But nobody pushed him. Docherty slightly held him back, which lead to him lunging into the challenge. Cant see how the commentators didn't see that. Nobody was pushed.
I didn’t see a push but even if there was one, their man absolutely flew in and was no where near the ball.
  • KO second half under way...
  • Chance inside 30 seconds!

    To Reading.

Striker through one on one with AMB, the big Aussie got a touch on the shot and behind for a corner.

    And now our GK.
  • Let off! Smith clear through but for a good save from AMB

  • Great save from AMB
  • Sounds like a 1-0 game, but to whom?
  • Barnsley 2-0 Crawley
  • Bloody hell, i'm sure I just saw a Lino making a decision all on his own...🙄

More like coconuts. Not many goals around today in any of the Leagues.
  • Reading claim handball, looks it on a quick replay but no chance given how close Leaburn was to the ball when played.
  • Bloody hell lino!

Bastard put his flag up late.
  • Gillesphey was really good the other day vs. Wycombe but he’s been absolutely horrible today. Missed headers/tackles and misplaced passes left, right, and centre.
