Again a rather unbalanced bench, if Miles goes off there are two potential replacements, but no pacey runner if T Campbell goes off.
If it's an unbalanced bench poor old Chuks is likely to fall off and get injured again before he has a chance to get on the pitch.

Reading seem rather large odds of 17/4 on Bet365 considering their league position.

And their form, think they’ve won their last three in the spin too.

I'm hoping we sign a pacey wide player this month as that's missing from the bench. Glad to see Aneke over Hylton (though he's arguably been better than Ahadme!).
Don’t know what the situation is with Kanu, but I think there should room for him on the bench to at least somewhat fill this role until we can sign another winger. We don’t need Ahadme and Chuks on the bench, one or the other. For me, always Chuks when he’s fit.

15th in the away table. 2nd in the home table (behind Wrexham, ahead of Birmingham). That’ll be why they’re longer odds - would be nowhere near playoffs without their home form.

  • And I bet someone is still sitting in the wrong seat when the season ticket holder turns up!
  • It's freezing...
  • I saw Reading play just before Christmas.

Pereira in goal was terrific. My group all had him as man of the match.

Main strength is their midfield the with Wing as the deep playmaker and the other two further forward. Savage is probably the weakest of the three, but has scored some wonderful goals against us recently.

Mbengue who's switched from RB to centre half is fun to watch. They are VERY inexperienced at full back, though - one's only 16, so we may be able to exploit some positional lapses there.

Smith is a player I've really come to like. Centre forward, not prolific, but works the back line, competes, brings others in, and does everything you want of your man up top.

Should be a decent game if we play out part.

    Come on you reds!

  • For all the talk of signing Reading players, I'd love to see us try and get Pereira

One of the best Goalkeepers I've seen us up against this season

Although to be fair there have been a few that we've not really seen, because we've not tested them

At least we know where Kanu has gone

Just seen a stat that says he’s kept 4 clean sheets this season…

We're safe where we are, no other bugger sits near us other than my brother and my nephew!

Do we really need the sprinklers on today given how effin' cold it is?

Are we trying to turn the ground to an ice rink?

Not a good idea with Chuks on the subs bench ...

I know this was a major concern at the Mansfield game but there are plenty of "flag wavers" by the tunnel today to welcome the players onto the pitch.

How on earth can the pitch look worse than it did Vs Wycombe? Surely they have done some work on it between then and now? It looks horrendous.

They’re not miracle workers! What do you expect them to have done in a week of freezing temperatures?

This ref is a bastard already.

He blew his whistle to end the memorial applause before the list of names had finished scrolling.

    Kick off @ 3:01pm.

We're kicking the right way first half.

As long as they don't water the bench we're laughing.
