Turned a corner from our disappointing form.

Don't think the performances are screaming play-offs but still time I suppose.

Lot of work still needs to be done in January.
  • Thank you all for the updates.
Off to eat a Christmas sandwich now.
If I'd tried during the second half, I'd have been lucky to only get indigestion.

Cambridge were an alright team - good enough to stay up.

But we had them completely under control until fifteen minutes of defensive madness after half time. Like we completely forgot how to defend after keeping three clean sheets in a row.

We are solid until we’re not and the fragility is still there.

If Cambridge could add a striker in January they'll be fine. Not convinced Ndululu and Kachunga is enough and that defensive line was a mess first half but they'll create plenty.

They were much better than I expected.  But then Northampton were a different level of poor.

Ugly win, disappointed with Miles and TC second half. Seeing TC not go in for a loose ball would've been a benching from Lee Bowyer but that sums some of the players lack of urgency and commitment. As someone has said we need some quality in January... Not sure if we're get it mind.  Wycombe will cause us massive problems if we're off it on Sunday.
