As
@eastterrace6168 is still off on his holidays I'm starting this thread off today, although I won't be doing live updates as I'm visiting family and typing on my tablet is S L O W. Having been treated to a minor Christmas miracle on Saturday rather
than the load of old cobblers some were anticipating at Northampton, we
go into today's home game against Cambridge hoping not to suffer a
Boxing Day hangover. For those of us who aren't able to make it to
the Valley, coverage on Sky Sports Football starts at 2:45, while I assume Charlton TV will be starting at the usual time for those abroad (literally or virtually).
Team news to follow in a little while - there was some concern that Alex Mitchell might be suspended, as he's now reached 5 bookings, but luckily the deadline for that has already passed.
ETA:
Charlton: Maynard-Brewer; A.Mitchell, Jones, Gillesphey; Small, Docherty (c), Coventry, Berry, Edwards; Leaburn, T.Campbell
Subs: Mannion, Edmonds-Green, Anderson, A.Campbell, Ahadme, Hylton, Godden

Cambridge: Reyes, Morrison, Watts, Brophy, Kachunga, Kaikai, Smith, Okedina, Ibsen Rossi, Stokes, Cousins
Subs: Stevens, Bennett, Andrew, Nlundulu, Loft, Njoku, Longelo
3-0 the train gets rolling

As long as we win, I don't mind i guess!
Now we'll see just how much things have actually improved and how much it really was Northampton being just THAT bad.
Need to start winning consistently now so fingers crossed.
