Great Guinness heist: UK thieves steal truck carrying 35,000 pints
Load of 400 50-litre kegs of stout – equivalent to 35,200 pints – disappears from a logistics hub
Not guilty.
Mate of mine is a big Guinness drinker and messaged us all yesterday from his “last minute” break to Morocco. I’ve just asked him if he’s on the run to a non-extradition treaty country 🤔😂
Sounds like Diageo are thinking about selling it or spinning it off, 2 very different propositions...
Never felt like Diageo truly knew their market.
That has been the plan for many years - in reality they have (since creation) been a spirits based business and beer has always been a relatively uncomfortable (if profitable) bedfellow (as was Burger King...(although not profitable)). They are aggressive on the spirit acquisition trail and have been building that in "immature" markets over several years.

The only problem was the tap stopped working after the first pint
I'd be interested if they're doing a 9,000 year season ticket.
