I know he’s on a lean patch, but cricket is a completely different game mate.ButtleJR said:Might not be popular on here but I'd drop leaburn for Crawley. Ruins our attacks by taking 10 touches before even picking his head up and rarely passes. Should play that starting team Tuesday.18 -
Since the turn of the century we've been rubbish in the cups but decent (for the most part) in the league. Now it's the other way round.0

Didn't take too long did it for the old, "They rested their players/ reserves" stuff did it, concentrating on the league for them...well it didn't stop them beating Bolton 2-1 in the first round did it, we WON and in the third round hat, so come on, enjoy the result, and stop this lucky to win stuff please...25

Opens the batting for England. Similar height to Leaburn...ForeverAddickted said:

We were good 2 years ago though. A mediocre league season, but that QF game at Old TraffordLazy_eye_metaphor said:Since the turn of the century we've been rubbish in the cups but decent (for the most part) in the league. Now it's the other way round.0 -
Glad you all got the performance and the result that the trip deserved. Hope the journey home won't be as much of a trial as it was last week.blackpool72 said:On my way back home from the match.
I had absolutely no idea what to expect from today's game as predicting Charlton this season is tough.
So I'm happy to say I was delighted by the way we played.
In my opinion we dominated the first half.
Defended well under pressure for long periods 2nd half , and then punished them at the end.
Please play like this in our next few league games and try to reach the top 6.
League one is pony so all is possible.

I know an intelligent Charlton fan who went to the game and he said that Dixon is not ready for the first team.Crusty54 said:
Dxon scored 4 goals against a weak non league side. League 2 defenders would be more likely to kick him to pieces.MarcusH26 said:Bizarre squad selection again. Why's Hylton involved over Dixon and 2 left backs on the bench....10 -

4-0 win was a 'happy Valley' prediction result every match for years.
Hopefully he is well and has just retired from CL as he was overwhelmed by the Negativity as well as the poor play TBF.
Happy valley made Callum seem negative 😀7 -
If Taylor doesn't start on Tuesday I have to question NJ's suitability as Manager.9

This x100killerandflash said:Taylor and Coventry is clearly the best midfield combination, both worked hard and did their defensive duties, but also had some quality on the ball.4 -

ForeverAddickted said:Interesting to hear him say Hylton was specifically brought in to relieve the load on Chuks and Leaburn. That's actually a really good interview from Jones, especially the last minute or so. Very passionate about where we are, how much the players care and how determined we are to get more out of everyone and build something this season. I know we haven't been good at all this season but at the very least you know he cares about his work33

The promotion chasing team that rested 6 players you mean 😉swordfish said:
Winning big away against a promotion chasing team from L2 suggest L2 is our level then, or is that just bollocks.valleynick66 said:We have found our level1 -
Doesn't count. Apparently he missed an open goal against Burton. It wouldn't have been an open goal for anyone else, but for a carthorse it was a gift horse.Dazzler21 said:

First I've seen of Gassan's second goal, love that aggression to win that header as someone else has mentioned!!Chippycafc said:7 -
If L2 is our level, why are we mid table in L1?eaststandmike said:
