I may have missed it, but has anything been confirmed on Hylton or Potts? They were both short term deals until January weren't they? Are the deals up/been extended.
Seem the two obvious departures to me even if their wages aren't that high.

Hylton may have left the club, or playing contract hasn’t be renewed. He maybe a full time coach position now. Waiting for clarification
Unless he gets paid much more for being a player/coach than just a coach, I would keep him on those terms. Whilst not a player we want to rely on, seems an odd decision to remove him from the squad list if he is fit enough to play a bit part if needed.

Why? He'll be a free agent who can sign at any point until about mid March if we need him

I am working on the assumption that he is staying on in a coaching capacity

Sure so if we need him in February we can sign him in February as a player without needing to pay him playing wages in January

If he isn't training and in the gym with the team as a player, he'll lose his fitness and strength though. It's unrealistic to expect someone to keep themselves match fit, in the chance that we might re-sign him as a player in February or March.
Which isn't because I want him wearing the shirt, more that we need to decide if he's good enough to be a coach or not.

A fair point, guess it all depends on how well Chuks holds up and if Kanu goes on loan
I sincerely hope Coventry now stays fit With Taylor out, NJ doesn't have a like for like replacement in his preferred lineup Berry's contributions have improved slightly but he's never going to fill CC's boots. A Campbell is deadwood I like Karoy Anderson and think his future is probably the disruptor/defensive-mid George Dobson role but again he's not got Coventry's skillset. Docherty might be tasked with the CC role but he's erratic, while CC and TT are both calm presences in the middle.
Taylor's dissatisfaction is wholly justified, especially when A Campbell still gets named on the bench. If Taylor tells NJ to get stuffed he'd be well within his rights.
Fingers crossed this works out for all concerned. TT will inevitably get his chance to rub NJ's nose in it, next time he plays against us (or NJ's subsequent employer)

Definitely need someone, especially if Allan Campbell goes back to Scotland as its just Anderson and Enslin as cover then

Send A Campbell back if possible. For a club not wanting to dip into the loan market, he has been a miserable failure.
