Much lower carbon emmisions on the train.

Not if he’s had Guinness and curry the night before 😉

Decent numbers already. 2 wins out of the next 3, or a big away FA cup tie (as people will want the points) and this will sell out

The train station is in the middle of the town and the ground.  If travelling by train I'd recommend going into the town then take a taxi from there.
There are loads of trains from Euston so it could be easier for you.

  • Good luck everyone. Going to Scotland that weekend and hoping to catch the mighty Cowdenbeath v Albion Rovers match.

Hope it doesn’t sell out. These type of games work far better with a couple of hundred empty seats for people to sit where they want

Isn’t it standing behind the goal ? I ended up in the seats to the side last season and was so frozen by the end of the game had to go straight to the nearest pub to warm up

There's over 500 left. I doubt very much we will sell out. I said upthread that we'd be lucky to sell 1000 & I'm sticking to that.

A win tonight and on Saturday and a not awful weather forecast for the following week and this will come close to selling out. It’s a relatively straight forward journey, not too long on the train and a decent day out

It's a dull ground though, and Northampton is hardly the most exciting away day either. I'm still undecided.

Only 5 more tickets to go 😁
Are you still sticking to it 🤔
  • Getting anything over 1k will be very good numbers for our current form and the last weekend before Christmas.

Agree. When you look at actual attendance (not the announced) vs Crawley, we are taking 10%+ away to many away games this season. Decent for us.
  • Surprised the availability hasn't increased TBH. If I had one I know I would have returned it by now. Struggling to muster the enthusiasm to travel to my sofa and watch it on a stream.

It’s a good day out if you don’t get too bothered by the shit on the pitch
  • Anyone know if they’ll be tickets for sale at the ground on the day?

Yes, they have another 300 to  shift.
  • Can’t believe I’m saying this but we’ve just bought tickets. There’s something I like about how shit we are, a thousand hardy souls in the cold near Christmas.

    COYR.
A man after my own heart. I feel comfortable when Charlton are shit, thankfully over the years they have mostly held up their side of the bargain...
