Cannot agree this is a crap league. Just because we are some of the others are not. The top 3 Wycombe Birmingham and Wrexham already look the teams to beat - they score goals and make us look pedestrian. As I said ages ago you need 80 + goals for promotion and those 3 are well on the way. We will be lucky to score 50.We shouldnt be complacent - a relegation fight still might come about. Several of the teams below us have beaten us this season so they are not hopeless just less so than us. Very sad to see our decline after 60 + years .
Apart from Birmingham, this league is dreadful. That's why dross like Wycombe and Wrexham are top 3.

Have you watched Wycombe at all lately? They're not the same as previous years and have a lot of money behind them, they're a really good team

Ridiculous comment, some of the football played by the top teams makes us look like a National League side. Don’t just base it on what you see against Charlton, watch some of the hi lights
I think when we played Wrexham it was obvious they aren't a bad side. They're quite a basic side, but they're strong in every area and tough to beat.
As for Wycombe, miles from a bad side. Complete dark horse but a load of their players would walk into our team. They're reminding me a bit of the Shrewsbury play-offs team, they also went completely under the radar but had a very good season.
Caleb Taylor, Franco Ravizolli, Cameron Humphreys, Josh Scowen, Daniel Udoh, Richard Kone. Just a few names from Wycombe that would walk into our team on current form.
It's just the same old, our recruitment team is terrible and can't identify good players. At this point they'd be better off hiring someone who plays a lot of football manager to suggest players.

Wrexham are good to watch, as much as it pains me to say it. I watched the game against Mansfield and they are the definition of being front-footed. Rather than pretending to be, like us.
I've written this season off now. I'll still be going to matches, but with little expectation of seeing anything worth watching. I think (based on what Airman says) that it's not a money issue with the new owners, it's just that they've put their trust in the wrong people. Let's hope thay have the balls to have a major clear out and a reset. They need to act now.

My experience of private equity types would point to the owners clearing out before they find new management. Having been duped once by the current crew i doubt they will want to play double or quits.

It's really not ridiculous. A team with Eoghan O'Connell, James Maclean & Elliott Lee are third in the table. They are obviously well drilled, but let's not pretend their squad is anything but bang average. We'd get about 130 points this season if we had the team from either promotion season under Powell & Bowyer.

This is my take on the situation, if their wealth is genuine the money they have invested in the club is like buying a lottery ticket. I can see them pulling the plug and telling Charlie they are not interested in going again
Every year it gets tougher and tougher to support our great club, continual rising price of attending Vs a continual decline in quality on show makes it harder and harder to justify. It would be easier to stomach if the performances were there, we'd just been unlucky or one part wasn't clicking. Unfortunately at the moment, there is much more bad than good to observe. I long for the day when we can support this club with an assembly of pride as opposed to embarrassment, like we used to.

Possibly. But difficult to predict. If they’re genuinely billionaire-style wealthy it makes them unpredictable. They don’t think the way you or I might do.
