It looked a penalty from the east stand. It was justice for their dirty gamesmanship from their no 23 30 seconds earlier

I mean it was clearly a penalty but I can see why I'd be annoyed if it was given against us. His arm was at his side rather than sticking out. 

The issue is he turned and fliched towards the ball with his arm rather than just taking a step and catching it on his stomach instead.

Agreed. Nasty tackle and worst case scarier could have seriously hurt TC as he was picking up pace while running.
