Birmingham not taking defeat very well. 😂
    Classless club.
I think they thought they would go the season unbeaten lol

According to BBC, we only had one shot on target, but who cares 👍

Nice to see Methven and a few of the players celebrating together by the tunnel
  • Back to performing how we did in the first few games.

Question is, what happened in the last month?
Its the charlton way.  How many times have we been poor when we should be good and good when we aren't expecting to be
Issue is, as great as these performances are. They're spoiled by the previous month of dropping 9 points.

We need consistency to go up. This shows we are capable of doing it, just needs to happen every (or most) weeks.
Totally agree.  Im hoping it was  down to new players settling into the environment and team. time will tell

I’d like to see Leaburn for Godden so we have two strikers with pace and strength. Godden can’t press in the same way.
Godden makes a huge positive difference to me. He's got game intelligence.
He has but Leaburn’s a clever player too
    Ahemmm....

We've really got to stick with MG. He's a quality footballer and works so well in this formation.

    Brum had 63.6% possession

Only needed one shot on target ;) - To be fair, we were quite creative today I thought

It really didn’t feel like it. They barely broke through our press all game.

Just passed it around a bit and got hassled off the ball.

In all honesty I think we should have won by more.

The way the players embraced NJ at the end puts to bed the notion that he's lost the dressing room.
Probably because he told them to, else they're dropped next game...

That's a superb win, and a better performance than the Bolton game, which was out previous best.

They can have 90 percent if they want. We'll take the 3 points

One good result, gets rid of depression from previous three games

Glad he stayed on! I never doubted Godden as a goalscorer but didn’t see today being a game where a chance would fall to him, expected it to more likely to come from us pressing them.

Leaburn still has a big part to play too. Right decision not to risk him in the end when he’s come back from a bad injury.
  • Stunning performance!! Typical Charlton to lose to "also rans" to beating the run away favourites.
Right, keep with that 11 and repeat that performance.
