  • We’ve made Birmingham look ordinary.

Presumably they will change it up at half time. We’ve done a lot of running, so I worry what will happen when the game tightens up.

Though that being said we had some really good possession with the ball as well.
  • Best we’ve been all season, bar the finishing.

Birmingham are an insanely talented side.
The right takeover, the right money spent.

They will mesmerise us with their passing.

Our inability to do anything going forward will be our undoing.

This is what I always wanted for us - proper money spent and an actual vision from the owner who has money to burn.
my word ...so if our owners get us relegated directly due to their decision making and we end up bossing L2 you'll be happy?
Genuinely don’t know where to start with your comment
Sorry to hear this ..maybe start with the facts? You're aware Birmingham are a big club and were relegated from the Championship last season?
Not worth engaging anymore with it the negativity.

    You crack on mate
  • Dont think Jones has quite lost the dressing room yet though.

Maybe he's been given some directions ;)

This feels like a loss coming with all these missed ops.

Not sure they were clear cut ops. First one Kanu was on the line and couldn't expect him to score from there, did all he could, the second I thought the keeper recovered very quickly. But yes our play probably says we should be 1-0 up
    ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Much much better and I do prefer 442 - midfield too static at times when in possession and Edwards needs an outlet on the left. Campbell anonymous until last 10 mins.

What is this playing on the stream now?
The monthly CharltonTV round up, I think the full video is on YouTube
I've got a Scott Minto interview back from when he was a kid. No context or anything. Have I got some sort of different/exclusive feed or something?

Campbell and Docherty looking like the players we thought we had signed. Campbell in particular has been very good. This is chalk and cheese from Bristol Rovers.
  • Horrible game but at least we are competitive.  Birmingham don’t look all that and our shape is stifling them. Just a shame we have less up front than Twiggy.  Kanu, dear oh dear. Cant fault the kid for effort but dearie me.  May looks ineffective for them (famous last words).

  • Good first half, and more to come second half, should be 1-0 with that terrible miss by Kanu, COYR..👍

Its all part of that show, they're just doing highlights from it

Against the top 5 or 6 sides I do think we set up correctly. We are the much better side today and should be at least 1 up.

The problem is, I don't think we have the quality or creativity to open up the weaker sides. A shame really.
I appreciate the sentiment and agree it’s a shame.

What I would say is let the man build something - he clearly knows what he’s doing. We might not be getting instant results but we are just a couple of signings away from being a proper decent team.

Watching on stream today. He was about a yard off the line and also could've passed to Anderson. He will bitterly disappointed with that one.
  • Unfortunately still no shots on target though.

According to BBC: Brum have nearly 63% possession. They have had 1 shots to our 4
  • We look the better team in that half a really good performance

Agree 100% with this. Change takes time. Yes he’s got it wrong recently but it’s part of the process.

We don't have any high press plsyers on the bench for when this lot get knackered. We will have to change the style of play at some point

Well that’s wrong on the shot count. We’ve had 4 and they’ve had 1.

Thet're just geezers repalcing the divots mate
  • Definitely a good half, far better than I expected. Hats off to NJ for the set-up and getting Docherty and Campbell going again.

But. Dan Kanu will be a good player but if Alfie May were in his shirt today he’d have put away both of those chances.

And with the offside attempt he should have hit the target

We’ve not had 1 shot. Sky Sports app says 4.

It says 4 v 1 in our favour on my laptop. Maybe you've got the Russian-hacked version of the BBC site up?
