I’m not a fan of any of those but can you state what they have and haven’t contributed to the cause?
likewise, what has hylton done/not done.
i know the response will be the signing of ahadme, a Campbell etc, how about the signings of Coventry, Ramsay and small?
apologies but posts like this do wind me up. Constant attack, same agenda without evidence to back it up.
Danny Hylton has scored more goals for Charlton in friendlies and league games than the other three. That’s evidence.0 -

obviously I do not have the answer to these questions, neither do I have an understanding of any of the aboves daily tasks! However, I’m not spouting off about their lack of contribution despite not knowing what their contribution is.
In what sense have I commented on their ‘lack of contribution’?0 -

For what it’s worth, I thought Seth’s comment about goals scored was a light hearted joke.
Maybe I’ve got that wrong, but it seems people are quite angered by it and I don’t really understand why.2 -

Not sure his comment went into that much detail or warranted such a response, but ok.
I know Seth grinds some people’s gears at times, but the attacks seem a bit disproportionate on this occasion.5 -

In terms of him being a forward. Well we have about 7 forwards (if one gets injured he'll probably put his boots back on) so there is no rush to sign him up again.0 -

If he helps us get into playoffs then I'm all for it.If on the other hand we fail, I'll be straight back on this thread cursing the fella. 😉0

Get in!!!!!2

Play offs confirmed. I wonder which 3 teams will join us?2

Danny Hylton's Red and White Army2

So he's basically a coach.
Indeed centre forward is the one area where we have loads of depth anyway, considering that Miles and Kanu came off the bench on Saturday, Chuks didn't get on the field and Ahadme can't even make the 18.1 -

14 years ago, I predicted Nathan Jones as a future Charlton manager. Now I have the same feeling about Danny Hylton. Remember you heard it here first.3

Lots of "we" and "our" which I like to hear.
Also, the great Curbs mantra don't get too high after a win, don't get too low after a defeat...4 -
Comes across really well in that3

Excellent decision I think, the guy clearly has played a part with the morale and spirit in the team. Seems like a no brainer to keep him involved, wonder if we'll see him on the bench again0

He's like a real life Ted Lasso character. One of my favourite sub-genres of footballer is player who is an absolute psychopath on the pitch and a lovely person off it. Apparently Luis Suarez and Diego Costa were both really pleasant, chill people outside of football but as soon as they crossed that white line they were monsters. Nice to add Danny Hylton to that list.8
