HT 1-0, a hard fought first half, a great goal from Doc, we are getting into this game, a good first half from our perspective, more of the same second half please...
Very good first half from both a Charlton and entertainment perspective. Bolton lacking quality and Santos hasn’t looked as commanding as usual. Same again please
Enjoyable 45mins of Football, not too many chances created at either end - Been very much a battle between the midfields, with the press creating plenty of mistakes on both sides of the pitch.
Doesnt mean its been a boring Midfield battle either, been really entertaining, even if it had have been 0-0 at HT to be fair.
Well happy with that first half. Great pressure from our boys. Baxter looks like he's crapping himself in possession. We won the first half fair and square. No reason why we can't do the same in the second.
Well folks, that wasn't half bad (and before any Muppet afficianados get ready to jump on that, the next line is not "No, it was ALL bad!")
Bolton may have had a decent amount of possession, and a bit too much in our half, but they've not overly troubled us yet; their passing had been hilariously bad at times.
We've looked fairly solid at the back, a definite bit of steel in midfield and we've had a few other chances up front on top of the well-taken goal by Dochers.
A word about the ref: clown. At times he's been good but at others his decision-making has been laughable.
If we have more of the same second half I'll be happy.
Thought it was pretty much even Stevens really but happy to be 1-0 up. Why does Berry keep picking up needless bookings, 3 in 3 now. Jones excellent that half. Imo they look more dangerous going forward than us. Game on second half.
We are matching, and winning against a very strong Bolton. We look sharper, more composed and so much smarter on and off the ball. More of this 2nd half and I feel we will get another goal to finish the trotters off.

One minute of added time.

... that's right everyone, Alex Gilbey has scored yet again.
Team is working so hard. Nor seen that level of fitness for many years. But I fear the second half is going to be very open as both teams tire.
Big shout out to all the defence and keeper. They have all been superb in that half.
And I'm looking forward to Chuks coming on and getting stuck into Santos!
