    But over 2
  • I genuinely think when the website shows how many are sold that it encourages others to buy etc. especially when they selling quickly. There is no update on Reading sales on the website. Can’t work out why they sometimes update and other times don’t ?
  • Incompetence?
  • Will this sell out? Should do. Elizabeth Line Derby … COYA

    It will now…
  • Imagine if we can take 3000 there - massive boost for the team.
  • ordered my ticket this evening

Jesus ! We have almost 3000 tickets. I doubt if they will even sell out on the day. No need for all that hullabaloo.
You are actually so hilariously negative!
Weapons grade, with heavy emphasis on "weapon".

We took nearly 3k there in Feb, during a poor season. We should easily match that on the back on 3 wins.
  • Just went to buy but no games are listed on the away tickets page. Anyone else getting that?

clicked on Mens away tickets, its working
  • What is the situation regarding new players signing for Reading FC?

If I am correct I thought that they were placed under a transfer embargo.

However I was told yesterday that the FL had given Reading FC special dispensation to replace any players that depart in the Transfer Window.

Millwall have apparently signed or are signing one of their better players. If the “special dispensation” is true then the transfer embargo is a nonsense.

Whilst I don’t want them to go out of business, I do feel that rules are rules, and if they have had a  transfer embargo placed against them for financial  irregularities, then this should be enforced. Not lifted to allow Reading the opportunity to field a stronger team against us then they would have, had the embargo not been temporarily lifted.

    Current Embargoes
There are currently no Clubs under embargo.
If a Club is under Embargo and has 23 players of Professional Standing, can they acquire new players?
Clubs under Embargo with 23 or more players of Professional Standing cannot register players
    • Should the Club sell a player/players or terminate existing contracts, then they would be able to ‘staff up’ to ensure they have 23 players of Professional Standing within their squad
      • A player of Professional Standing leaving the Club on loan does not reduce the number of eligible players the Club is deemed to have
    https://www.efl.com/governance/embargoes
  • Thanks for explaining that.

It all depends how many players Reading have published as their squad.

Less than 23 players, then Reading can sign new players, more than 23 players than Reading cannot sign replacements.
  • Really looking forward to Saturday and hoping we sell out. COYA!
  • Is the club shop open today does anyone know? Wanted to get tickets but also a few other bits.
  • There were 600-700 tickets left at 1pm today according to the box office.

  • Have we sold out the south stand, not showing the option to buy tickets there anymore?

Potentially but I got offered both stands today.

If you read what was posted you'll see that they are NOT under any embargo.

  • My son sorted ours out this (now yesterday) evening. Got five going from our family, a new record for us I think (at least in my lifetime).

Lower than i thought. Hopefully more will get in the coming days.
  • I was expecting higher too.
Perhaps the ticket gods should look at the priority scale and amend where necessary.
I always think it’s bad form when fans can’t buy away tickets on a match day - when they are there in person.
Understandable for high demand games, but all looking a bit pointless with hindsight.
  • That’s really poor. Hopefully an influx this week after recent results.
