  • Good work from Campbell helped by some poor goalkeeping. Decent move
  • Won the ball high up, Edwards played in a lovely ball to TC who stepped over the ball, cut outside and drilled in a shot at the near post
  • I'm not sure whether that was impressive placement from Tyreece or poor reaction from the keeper , but I'm happy either way.
  • Pompey keepers are always dodgy. Kudos Tyreece.
  • Great move that and a great ball by edwards... Would never in a million years have said TC was a striker, fair play Jones, be interesting to see if he gets games there

Mitchell in 4 and Coventry in 6 will annoy a few purists
The new fangled "No 6 sitting midfielder", but no 6 to me will always be a centre back  :)
Especially weird how people like to talk about a "6" or a "4" these days - when nobody did before - when virtually none of the players they talk about have EVER worn those numbers .
  • Good pass from a team with no creativity 😉 good finish but keeper won't be chuffed with that!
  • Hopefully this is what TC needs, I personally said in the summer it looked like it was time for him to move on to help kickstart his career but if NJ has got him in a good place and he can turn into a decent striker then fair play. He's certainly one of the best strikers of the ball we have

  • Fabulous bit of obstruction by Jones near the LH touchline
  • My screen has frozen. Are others having same problem?
  • @redman, nope fine here. Check your router.
  • Ramsey looking so much better defensively than Watson so far.

I always remember some plastic Liverpool fan I used to work with. He said Alan Hansen was the best number 5 he had ever seen. Hansen never even wore number 5 for them.

Clearly preseason for the Pompey drummer too, absolutely no rhythm or co-ordination to him whatsoever
Sign him up for our midfield 😄

Nice quick ball out from Mannion to Ramsey, showing some quick distribution, AMB would have still been farting about there...

Can I recommend Inverting the Pyramid by Jonathan Wilson which explains both what those numbers mean and why they came to be known as such. As well as why a "4" in Britain is a "6" in most of the rest of Europe.

Grrr got it on my laptop but my TV says server not found!
  • Maybe TC will be our secret weapon this season?

    No but a bit jerry.
  • Showing some controlled possession, and outwitting Pompey in mid field...
  • Nice move. Great cross by Ramsay, terrible shot by TC  :D
  • Moments like that are where TC doesn’t look a natural striker. Probably could have taken a touch and placed that.
