    Question for @SELR_addicks

1 - was the first foul a yellow card?

2 - is kicking the ball away after a free kick is given a yellow card ?

Just answer yes or no please. No need to add anything else, just want to know your opinion on those two incidents
Wouldn't mind the red if the Liverpool player was sent off last week and Doku booked. All 3 incidents reffed by Oliver.

The inconsistency shows it is only being used when it suits.
    So yes or no?

Why would Doku have been booked, he kicked it towards where the ref pointed for the free kick to be taken

That is exactly what what deserve for parking the bus like that
You can't be serious? A goal up and a man down away to Man City, what were they supposed to do, go all out attack second half?
Anti football imo. I'm glad they didn't get the win.
I'm glad they didn't get the win either, but any team in the world parks the bus in that situation away at City.

Even Real Madrid parked the bus there in the CL last season and that was 11 v 11.
Big Ange says hold his beer...

  • Man City failed to kick the ball back for arsenals first goal when the free kick was taken in a different postcode to where the foul took place .
    fuck em gooner cnuts
  • Will wait to see another team get punished for kicking the ball away this season.
It's happened numerous times already, do you not watch MOTD?
  • Spanish news reporting Rodri going to Madrid for operation on his cruciate.

    Could be out for season.

Could be huge that, so important to City and no obvious replacement.
  • Rodri is the lynchpin of that City side even more than Haaland , if he's out for the season as rumoured it's an enormous blow. Guess they have to use Nunes now

Ornstein reporting it also. He does say duration unconfirmed as tests still ongoing but it's going to be a long time.

City need to get through to 1st Jan still in touch at the top and then buy a replacement or it's Arsenal's title.
  • City to buy Zubimendi in January and overturn a points deficit to win the title with a game to spare
  • The Friedkin Group has reached an agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri's majority 94% stake in Everton.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval from the Premier League, the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority.

It is believed to be worth in excess of £400m, leaving Moshiri with little return on his substantial investment.

The US-based group is led by chairman Dan Friedkin, who also owns Roma. He has a net worth of £5.7bn according to Forbes.

  • Not sure where this leaves the Palace co-owner John Textor, who wanted Everton and had put his Palace stake up for sale.

I know of a fellow American who could buy Palace from him?

Already has a good relationship with Parish... However he's a bit of a Rockstar CEO, whatever that is.
  • I think Textor is trying to buy out the other partners at Palace.  No idea if any traction in it though.
  • Textor seems to want full ownership of a club somewhere , although the reports from Lyon about his ownership there are hardly glowing....

As are the reports about Friedkin at Roma. We've been there before, a crook selling often brings in another dodgy owner

  • Rodri out for the season. Massive blow for City, including the Champions League
  • Rodri out for the season. Massive blow for City, including the Champions League
Massive blow for football in general I'd say.
Especially as it increases the chances of the unthinkable bloody happening.
  • You mean Spurs winning the Premier League JB?
  • More chance hell freezing over...
  • Nunes, Kovacic and Gundogan isn't the worst midfield to have to cover the gaps until January though, when I expect them to sign someone for the rest of the season at least
  • Pep Guardiola: "There is no team that is wanted to be more beaten than us here in England". "We felt it, we smelt it: Man City again! They don’t like us, at all!". "But it's ok, let's go. Let's try".

Is it not actually the complete opposite? People don't mind City winning because it stops United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

Anyone who still feels this way has something wrong with them tbh.

That said, the existence of an immovable elite is the bigger problem
  • Well I’m happy to have something wrong with me

Man City mean nothing to me I don’t know any City fans so have no gloating mates giving it the big un

but as for Liverpool , Man U, Arsenal , Chelsea , Spurs , West Ham etc I know loads of them cnuts , fuck em may they suffer in the footballing sense forever

Starting with Kovacic and Rico Lewis in midfield at Newcastle today. A lot of trust placed in Lewis who seems to be able to play anywhere.
