Small is looking lost recently. Lost a lot of the early shine he has. Whether that’s tiredness or being more of a known quantity I’m not sure.
Don’t think it helps him that he is being expected to be almost our only creative outlet. We’re treating him like a wing back version of CBT - give him the ball and hope he can run 50 yards with it, beat three players, and somehow produce a good cross at the end of it.
