Charlton Athletic vs StevenageEaster Monday - 3pm Kick-OffReferee: Scott OldhamIntroductionThe Easter period, despite being much smaller than the Christmas version is in full swing... The Addicks travelled down to Devon hoping for a Good Friday, and were rewarded for their bad luck over the course of the season, with a fortunate own goal which ensured the points were shared with Exeter City - Charlton return to the Valley this Monday afternoon, for the first of three home games on the bounce; Nathan Jones will no doubt be looking for another eggs-ellent performance as this torrid season, slowly drags towards its grand crescendo
The OppositionName: Stevenage (8th) | Manager: Steve EvansGround: Broadhill WayPrevious League Result: Stevenage 0-0 BoltonIf there is to be one surprise team this season, then you'd have to admit that its Lincoln City!! - Up until recently though, there would be a clear argument for that side being Stevenage - Promoted back to League One last season (they finished 2nd in League Two) after a decade long absence, no one imagined that they'd be threatening at the right end of the table... Yet in all fairness to the 'Boro, that's exactly what they've done, and have only been outside of the top six for ten matches over the course of the season.
However, it looks as though the wheels are slowly falling off the Steve Evans catering bus... Having watched Stevenage falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Reading back in February, its clear that the issue for them is... Goals... Despite all their dominance that evening against another struggling side, they never really threatened to find the net, and that's continued on with their recent form...
In the eleven games that have followed that one, they've failed to score in five of them, and haven't won since the end of February... However they have lost just twice, so whilst their attack is one of the worst in the top half, their defence is the third best in the entire Division - Both sides that'll be turning out at the Valley on Monday have become draw specialists of late, but its the visiting team that'll be desperate for a first win in SE7 to get their Play-Off hopes back on track.
Charlton Team NewsAddicks fans were welcomed by the surprise inclusion of Chuks Aneke for Friday's clash with Eggs-eter... Sorry I'll stop now!! - The Striker continued his impressive of form in a Charlton shirt this season, with us remaining undefeated whenever he's been involved. It would be a surprise if he were once again involved tomorrow, but then this is Charlton and stranger things have happened.
We could also see a change in defensive personnel, with Edmonds-Green absent in the match day squad to the South West - Whether that was deliberate or not remains to be seen, but hopefully it won't be long either until we see Kayne Ramsay back and available for selection once more.

Bedsaddick said: I hope not, we need some more wins at the valley before the end of the season, whilst NJ has turned things around, we are still only a couple of wins under his regime and encouragement to buy next years season ticket.
Genuine guff the majority of em
the lack of skill and guile in this team is ridiculous, work horses can only get you so far
of course I’ll be there cheering them on but I’m sick of this shitness as the ordinary for us now
Will find something else to do.
