Anybody thinking of going by train for this I'd advise best to stay over.
Cheltenham is very pleasant and could be nice celebrating three points against a relegation rival.
PS, it's VERY tight on getting the 22.16 back to London.

I read that 5 rail companies voted to continue strike action (ASLEF) but Great Western wasn't one of them (neither were Southeastern or Southern).

I'm not to sure if the drivers at other companies voted or are yet to hold a vote.

It was on the following Tuesday originally, the first day of Cheltenham races.
  • Ah interesting! Did they move it because of the racing?

  • Any update on sales? Massive game
  • If going by train, the last departure of 22:16 will be tough to get. Getting a taxi in Cheltenham at any time is tough (unless picking one up at the station), and bus/walking won’t work.

  • Just got mine. Big game.
  • 20 mins up the road, see you there.
  • Advice please.

Would like to go to the game but major mobility issues limits my opportunities. Oxford Utd have parking facilities on the ground site, on a first come basis. Does Cheltenham have similar facilities or parking very close to the ground. Thanks

    Car Parking

Car parking is limited here at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium, but you can pre-book a car park space on a matchday online. Matchday parking does cost £8 per vehicle. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is also restricted.
