How he didn't get the managers job over Jones, based on just talking alone, is a mystery to me 🤣
Feel like I'm the only person who isn't being blown away by these interviews. Nothing hes saying is new or novel. Footballers are in a lucky position, we all know that.

Just wait until Nathan Jones starts his interviews then. They will all be about Welsh women, feeling physically sick and burning down table tennis tables. In amongst all that he might provide a bit of detail about the game or our players....but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I think I may need to brush up on my banter a bit 🤦♂️
I was being slightly sarcastic, hence the "being blown away" picture 🤣

What do we want? Just plain common sense will do for me. Ultimately it is about the tune he gets out of the fiddle.

The thing about Appleton in press conferences is that he'd be asked a question about something and often continue to travel in the direction of the bias of the question...
For example...
"Michael, we've got Cray Valley this weekend. They've had a good cup run and could pose a threat?"
"Yeah they can do, they've got x y z blah blah blah"
What Fleming is doing differently is taking the question and molding it to the answer he wants to give.
"Curtis, Derby this weekend, second in the away table. Going to be tough isn't it?"
"I'm excited for it, what a challenge for the lads. A packed away end. The team talk is half done."
Obviously Jones needs to have his own team but wonder if we will try to keep Fleming around if another role suits him, as only just arrived and seems like a good guy.
i agree, he seems like a decent bloke and has a smooth line of patter but so did Terry Wogan but he didn't have any track record of football management success either
