    He'll become another Simon Francis.

Not fussed he's gone. Never rated him, just more so find it odd that we let him go without really replacing him. Bizarre decisions.

Leyton Orient have found success with Pratley, Clare and DJ apparently. Wouldn't surprise me if REG ends up being decent for them.

I liked him in the small amount of time we saw him on the pitch, but overall just hasn't worked out. Surprised to see he played 25 league games for us, although there were quite a few 10-minute or less appearances amongst the appearances.

No doubt he'll have a cracking game on 1st March.

I thought on Saturday he wasn't warming up with much enthusiasm, in fact he looked cheesed off. I thought at the time perhaps he had a niggle, probably he knew that his Addick days were nearly over

Has no one told him about the forthcoming Blackwall Tunnel toll?

Perhaps he lives north of the river.

I'll be honest, I'm not getting the reaction. Wasn't good enough to start when Jones was injured (believe he only started 4 league games in that time). Yes his versatility is handy but when he's 5th choice would he have wanted to stay anyway? Would've defo kept Zach Mitchell with this deal happening though.

Good luck to REG. Hasn't quite worked out for him here. In my opinion every time he's been asked (mostly out of position too) he's given it his all. Hope he can forge a good career. Did well at Rotherham

From Town forum when he signed for us

    The exact same...

I'll miss him shouting "Big Win" to the camera for the after match socials on the rare occasion we do actually win a game but that's about it

Watch the Leyton Orient socials on the 1st March...

That will be after REG, Pratley, DJ and Clare team up for a Brazil 1970 style winning goal.

My abiding memory will be finding it hard to watch the banter cup games because there was such a small crowd and he has an incredibly annoying, piercing shriek of a voice. You could hear him over the commentary and it was not enjoyable TV.

Could have got Peckhambauer to stick if he’d been half decent

In League games REG had an average mark of 5.59, his best was a 68 minute sub against Stockport at home with a mark of 6.66.
When starting he had 428 minutes  and when on as a sub 215 minutes playing time.
He committed 8 fouls with3 yellow cards, had 1 shot on target and 1 assist.

Stockport home game was his only goal too.

Thoughts on him getting to Wembley (and potentially facing him)?

I'd rather he was playing against us than for us.

I don’t think it was worth selling him to sign McIntyre.

I much prefer the prospect (should we win tomorrow) of facing him and Beckles, compared to Hills and Pye.

We didn't sell him to sign McIntyre, we sold REG because he wanted to play but wasn't going to, and replaced him with a more suitable alternative for our needs. McIntyre has had a bit of a rollercoaster time with us but along with a couple of errors he had two MOTM performances at centre back and made a few useful cameos coming on in midfield. I think REG only had 3 clean sheets with us, and in none of those games was he the best player. Other than his goal against Stockport his major contribution to Charlton was being better than Lucas Ness and Terrell Thomas. REG was the 3rd best RCB and the 4th best RWB in our squad and McIntyre gave us left footed cover, I think in terms of low stakes trades it's done the job.

He was a useful option off the bench, very versatile. Never did much wrong when he played for us, same with Clare

This is obviously not solely down to him but Orient have kept just three clean sheets in the 19 games he's played and conceded 26 goals too in that time (1.37 per game). They let in 23 goals in the 28 games (0.82 per game) prior to his arrival and at one point had 9 clean sheets in 10 matches without him. So something changed for them as a defensive unit that, more or less, coincided with him joining them. Equally, Jones will be fully aware of any perceived weakness of his.

Not as good as Ramsay, not as good as Jones, not as good as Small .  Not the potential of Z Mitchell .

    So, you rate him then?

I wish him nothing but the best, and hope he's brilliant for the rest of his career, except against us.

Not being as good as those players doesn’t suggest he’s bad .
