Too many players playing like they are too secure in their shirt. Hard for Appleton because injuries and poor players mean he lacks options but to make no changes after Saturday’s poor showing sends the wrong message.
Can assume that because of injuries our players have been told not to tackle, not to head, not to block. If not they are just too timid and gutless. Shite game between two poor, poor League One teams.

Sounds like they’ve been asked not to play aswell…
After Saturday, decided today was the time for a nice family dinner and not worry about Charlton.
Just flicked thru the thread so seems that was a good move. But would be interested if someone could tell me are we playing Kanu out right and May up front as a loan striker?
A pretty dreadful game of hoof ball. Our ‘plan’ seems to be to go long ball but a general failure to win any headers and second balls renders it hopelessly ineffective. The only real threat is the occasional burst from CBT down the left but our inability to pass the ball is limiting the number of times we can get him one on one.
Practically nothing is coming from our lightweight midfield, with Campbell being physically dominated by Pratters.
We don’t have many options to change things up but Appleton needs to do something at half time to improve on a pretty dismal 45 minutes against another poor opponent.
It's like we are stuck in second gear with no-one having a good game, similar to Saturday. We could do worse than bringing on Aslimwe and Anderson who might spark our right side attacks. The only plus point is that the O's are actually worse than us but will probably score at some point.
50 mins. Another Orient chance from a long thrown in. Misses everyone and AMB collects. Defending from set pieces is a concern. Zero composure when put under pressure
FFS Fraser. We had a break on there and he just hangs onto the ball until Orient can everyone back behind the ball again. The tempo to our play is pathetic. So slow to do anything.
53 mins. Lack of communication led to Orient thrown in. Pin ball in the box for a while before Charlton clear via CBT who’s hacked down on half way line. Orient player booked. Charlton FK in Orient half.

He does it time and time again. We have a counter or overload and he takes 17 touches and slows the game down.

Without a strength to play to, we won't do much better than 7th-12th in this league.

It's NOT working
FK leads to nothing.
Even Sunday league players know you can't let the ball bounce ffs.
