Regardless of the result the very least I expect each game is that the players put in a decent shift and play like it matters. Unfortunately half the time some of our players play as if they are only putting in the minimum effort required. This pisses me off enormously, Unfortunately I can't see it changing with some of the dross we have at the moment. The January transfer window can't come soon enough.
I don’t think it’s that there are players not putting in the effort, to me it looks like the team selections seem to always have a little curve ball in there and consequently there is part of the cog in the gameplay that is missing, ie gaps in positioning or understanding where a team mate is, or should have been, or where a pass will be directed to. That could quickly be identified and fixed but MA just seems reluctant to change anything in the first half. Second half sometimes sees things turned around but not necessarily for the full 45 minutes, depending upon what further changes are made as the game goes on.
This lot, with a couple of obvious exceptions don't give a shit.
3-1 May scores for us.
A must win but will lose. I believe this with every fibre of my being, and will abandon reading the football related threads on here for a while when we do. 3-0 to the Tykes!
In the unlikely event that we should win, I'll eat a large helping of humble pie, or have a few mince pies. I'm not fussy.

I see what you're saying and I don't disagree, at the same time, you will have noticed that we have 30-40 minute spells where the players up their aggression, attitude and their amount of running and show we can take control of games. But in the other halves and periods, that desire drops off dramatically. I think it's lacking players who hate losing and will bust a guy all 90 minutes, and a lack of bravery to get on the ball.
Expecting a 3-0 reverse...and May to get injured. All this talk of beating Ralph Allen's record, no chance IMO. Other players not bothering as now waiting to see who still has a first team slot after January's major transfer window action (we hope...). Happy Xmas all!
2-2 and we throw away the 2-1 lead making it feel like a loss. Here and it is sunny and 13c. Seen one women just wearing her leggings and a crop top - hard as nails 🥴
Surely Kanu had earned his start after the impact he made last week. Why recall him from loan only to bring an ineffective loanee back from the dead to play in his place?
We’ve not won a league game with Fraser in that role? Why do we keep trying something that obviously doesn’t work. We’ve won plenty with Watson there. I’d play them all together but Watson definitely shouldn’t be the one missing out
