Looked quite good i thought............when he played for Swindon against us.
The rest of the time he was very average. He didn't really stand out on loan at Wimbledon in league 2 last year so i think he's done very well to get an SPL club.
Been on the St Johnstone thread on the Scottish football forum Pie and Bovril and noticed this comment "Charlton fans sound a horrible bunch in the replies." Thought that they'd been on CL and there had been some beastly comments, but now realise they were probably talking about Twitter comments and that is really no surprise. Made a comment on PnB and pretty much said what you said @Chris_from_Sidcup
DJ , Kirk, and Anneke. The amount of money wasted on transfer fees and wages on these three duds is criminal. No wonder Sangaard was happy to get out in the end.
Good luck DJ. It just didn't work out for you here. Felt like you put in a shift in a lot of different positions without impressing in any one in particular. Hope you're able to find your Swindon form in Scotland.
Honestly quite surprised someone came in for him but happy because he was a forgotten man. I think he's not going to be remembered fondly but I actually feel really bad for him. When he came in it was into a Bowyer team that didn't play wingers and was an absolute hellhole of negativity. He didn't get much of a look in until Adkins arrived and then he saw the season out really strongly. Won big headers, played as an inverted forward getting close enough to Stockley that we didn't have the lone striker problem as much and started to look dangerous. That summer he was our big hope. He was all over the kit marketing stuff, Adkins was raving about him, we were really positive about what he could do and it didn't happen. Everyone was terrible under Adkins that season but it was disappointing. Then Jackson came in, another who didn't play with wingers, and asked him to play right and left wingback as we sat deeper and deeper. Despite that not being his position he stuck with it and sacrificed a lot of his attacking instincts to become an okish defensive player out of position. Garner clearly didn't want him and it was over from there but I think while he isn't a great player he's been a real victim of the instability of the club at a key time in his career
St Johnstone will alert Police Scotland after midfielder Diallang Jaiyesimi was racially abused on social media.
The 25-year-old, on loan at the Scottish Premiership club from Charlton Athletic, was sent off in the first half of the 2-0 defeat at Rangers on Wednesday for a lunge on John Lundstram.
St Johnstone "firmly stand" with the player after he was targeted on X, formerly Twitter, and are "appalled that this unacceptable behaviour still exists in 2023".

Bowyer signing if I remember right, just before he f***ed off?
That was a joke btw. I wish him well and agree with all @Garrymanilow had to say about him.

Good luck to him.
