  • Do Kirk's, DJ's & Payne's contract all run out at the end of this season?
    Kirk's doesnt... thats until 2025
  • Looked quite good i thought............when he played for Swindon against us.

The rest of the time he was very average. He didn't really stand out on loan at Wimbledon in league 2 last year so i think he's done very well to get an SPL club.
  • Been on the St Johnstone thread on the Scottish football forum Pie and Bovril and noticed this comment "Charlton fans sound a horrible bunch in the replies." Thought that they'd been on CL and there had been some beastly comments, but now realise they were probably talking about Twitter comments and that is really no surprise. Made a comment on PnB and pretty much said what you said @Chris_from_Sidcup
  • DJ , Kirk, and Anneke. The amount of money wasted on transfer fees and wages on these three duds is criminal. No wonder Sangaard was happy to get out in the end.
  • Good move for both parties, all the best DJ.
  • Good luck DJ. It just didn't work out for you here. Felt like you put in a shift in a lot of different positions without impressing in any one in particular. Hope you're able to find your Swindon form in Scotland.
  • Crikes. DJ is still only 25. Get fitter, sharper and enjoy your career in football.
  • ^is the correct answer. There's always been a player in there. He's never hidden either, just lacked confidence

@Cabbles you can refer to DJ as Tri-Mansfield now as St Johnstone must be three times the distance from Charlton 😉

Classic Charlton signing that was.  Came to us as Swindon's best player, very welcome signing, injury prone, performed poorly, booed as he leaves.

Bowyer signing if I remember right, just before he f***ed off?
  • Tends to make a good first impression when he plays.
  • BBC on their list of deals done are saying Aberdeen. Doesn't matter which as long as he has gone.

And an even better one when he doesn't 😉

That was a joke btw. I wish him well and agree with all @Garrymanilow had to say about him.

Scored a hatrick and cleared one off the line before going between the stickd for the injured goalie and saving a penalty in 90 + 8 mins?
  • He's hardly played this season, is there the chance they'll want to send him back to us in January?

Think he’s been injured for most of it. If he’s fit now and starting games I’d imagine they will be happy to keep him

St Johnstone will alert Police Scotland after midfielder Diallang Jaiyesimi was racially abused on social media.

The 25-year-old, on loan at the Scottish Premiership club from Charlton Athletic, was sent off in the first half of the 2-0 defeat at Rangers on Wednesday for a lunge on John Lundstram.

St Johnstone "firmly stand" with the player after he was targeted on X, formerly Twitter, and are "appalled that this unacceptable behaviour still exists in 2023".

  • Signed a two year contract with Leyton Orient.

  • Done well to get a L1 contract, wouldn’t have surprised me if he was another who had to drop to L2.
  • Better player than many think.

    Good luck to him.
    Not for us, he wasn't.

    Good luck to him.
    He really, really wasn't.
  • Better player than many think.

    Good luck to him.
    Based on what?
  • In the 50 odd appearances he must have had a few very good ones but in amongst the plenty of 5/10 or 6/10 I’m struggling to think of any 8/10 or 9/10.
Surprised he has found another League 1 team.

    Good luck to him.
He had flashes of being a decent top end league 1 player, sadly too many injuries meant he couldn't consistently stay fit.

Apart from scoring a header and that outrageous assist with the outside of his foot, I can’t remember him doing anything. Dreadful signing.
  • Failed at Wimbledon and in Scotland on loan. Surprised he got a league 1 gig
